I have so many old Dooneys and probably fifteen to twenty year old Florentine bags! I bought my first Dooney in 1975. That red red is my favorite!

I also have old dooney bags. Dooney came out in 1975, at that time the bags did not have lining in of them.

@@doloresgeorge2686 yes, that’s correct. They were full thickness leather without a lining, as were my first Coach bags.

These pieces are gorgeous! I am so sorry about that scratch on the domed satchel. I like the texture and the natural marks but that scratch is a no go. I have been eyeing the florentine domed satchel in the natural but it’s hard to make out the texture in the photos. These videos are so helpful!! TFS!!!

@@dooneydaze yeah, I have that tote in black, and I just rub out the little scuffs that I get. It’s definitely getting softer with use. When I first bought the tote, I put heavy things inside of it and hung it for a few days to slightly stretch the straps to increase the strap drop a little or slightly! I can definitely see it being one of my lifetime totes.

Yea i know how you feel ive had to return all the florentine domed bags ive ordered. 3).. i dont mind minor marks but deep long scratches or a tape on the florentine leather ! . The paint would strip off if i would.of removed it. I gave up on the riverside ca facility .

It was a 48 hour flash Florentine sale they did a few days ago. The price almost never drops this low on Florentine wallets, unfortunately.
