I ordered this with no problems yesterday. It hasn’t been out of stock for a long time. They had black as a pre-order but it’s also back in stock. (And that’s on both websites)

Just got my black cara tote. Love it! The noise doesn't bother me because I'm hard of hearing and tune out noises anyways. My daughter is also eyeing my new bag. I've had D&B bags that lasts more than 10 years. Such a good and underrated brand.

The latch would bother me. All of my totes have a zip top closure. But, that is my personal preference.

I am so glad you posted this because I have been wanting a bag with that type of lock. It’s a really cute feature but I had no idea it was that noisy. I guess you could probably wrap the lock or the ring with something soft (clear silicone or plastic) so that they don’t make the clanking noise when they hit against each other.

Good question! Probably the Amelie tote in florentine. I have yet to decide which style I want to get my first DB florentine leather bag in.

I kind of like a little of the lock noise. The handles though, I have a Russell tote with those handles and it’s so uncomfortable to carry but these probably won’t be on your shoulder so maybe not an issue.

I love it! Both bags are so pretty. I have a small Amelie in Florentine and it’s such a cute bag. The lock makes a little noise but it doesn’t bother me too much. I sometimes tuck it inside. Thanks for sharing. 🥰🌸🌷💐

You know those plastic tubes people put on Coach tag chains and shrink with a blow dryer? You could put one on the lower part of the hook of the lock. I will MacGiver anything to keep a bag.

I have a hobo logo lock so it’s quite slouchy and doesn’t rattle like the Cara I’m also not a fan of the thin strap with the d rings inside 🤷♀️but it’s all personal preference and it is a beautiful bag You are on a roll …can’t wait to see what else you purchased Hugs Frances ❤

I love them all. I think my favorite is the pebble grain one with the charms. I love everything about that collection. The lining IMO makes the leather feel even better. I also love the extra little shine from the charms. The Forest one you showed is beautiful too. TFS and enjoy! 🥰🌸
