This is Masterchef Australia. It's much more different than the US version. Judges are really nice and they actually help and give advice to the contestants. They don't spit food and even if the dish is awful, they still try to highlight the positive sides of the dish. There's very minimum drama. Contestants' conflicts rarely ever happens. They actually help each other even on the Pressure tests. Really pleasant to watch.

Generic Name which is why I only watch Masterchef US.. I find Masterchef AU and other countries version boring.. the drama brought by the competitiveness of the contestants and the intensity Gordon Ramsay brings on to the show make it addicting to watch, not to mention the caliber of the judges..

AS far as I know the US show has the greatest monetary value out of any countries, so they can what ever they want to the contestants, no one forces them to stay in the competition

This is how the judges should be. American Masterchef judges are jerks and think too high of themselves while treating contestants like slaves. Going to start watching this version from now on

@riviacchad85137 жыл бұрын
But the thing is how many of these chefs judges or not are at the level of Gordan Ramsay or Graham? The truth is that the intensity forces the best chefs out of people, you can be a great cook but if you want to live in the world of Michellin you have to learn that it is not personal but professional.

The laughing eased the tension The contestant probably actually felt A MILLION TIMES better that they laughed at it and saw the light side of things rather than looking mortified at the appearance and harping him for cutting himself and shit.

The guy had the grace to laugh with the judges instead of getting mad. And also, the judges are pretty nice! American judges always spit out the food, throw it in the trash, or actively humiliate the cook

Love Gary and George Near the end of the first season they almost seemed like friends to the contestants and suffered along with them. They were the judges after all but they definitely weren't the enemy, on the contrary and that's what sets MCA apart from any other cooking contest around the globe.

Why did he choose the inside of the cone to build it? Also it's a croquembouche, a tower of profiteroles covered in molten sugar and filled with either whipped cream (wouldn't advise as it'd turn the choux buns soggy) or better, creme patissiere. It's not hard to make or build, he just had a mind blank I suppose - as can happen when you're under that much pressure.
