Right, there is a video from AZNVASION detailing using praedos for the “giga chad “ red crit build with pillage. I tried it on steelpath for Varuna and it was insane. Nothing but red cries for 20 min.

i can confirm, one yellow shard for casting speed is very nice to have for the Lull spam

A tauforged speed a tauforged crit and 3 regular crits has been nuts I’ve played baruuk almost exclusively since veilbreaker dropped

You don't get the combo multiplier tho. You get the glad set crit bonus which is still good.

@@Nbill DE made it so that if you forma a warframe, after leveling it the first time, you have your abilities unlocked up to your MR. So if you are MR 10, your stuff is at lvl 1.

You subsume like pull onto his 1, cast pull, then slide attack uppercut them all. Do this 3 or 4 times and you're at 12x

I may be projecting hard here but Brozime often says that he doesn't build for minmaxing but rather with comfort in mind. Obviously desert wind with a combo build does a lot more damage but I feel like most people just don't wanna go through the hassle of building and maintaining combo especially when the damage without combo is already this high.

@Marlon I dont know exactly how Brozime builds, but i find the dual Arcane Dexterity setup more comfortable than having to switch in and out of the 4. But to each their own really. And you're right. Most players won't normally build for the "Red Crit Punchy Man" setup.

My smeeta never dies tho and the charm perk is to nice not to have

what grouping ability do you use if you dont mind me asking. I am finding pull not to be as good as I had hoped

@@Synkhan It is a pull, so you're milage may vary. I find it pretty decent to group enemies both for combo as well as for lull to lower restraint.

Those lower combo duration right? Wouldn't you want to keep it up for the crits?

Its too clunky currently and sometimes just doesnt work hence why most builds are ignoring it now. It also gets messed up when your fist touch anything as with all stat stick combo setups.

Yea this is a wierd build. I've only ever seen where you build combo on serene storm, or using melee guidance to build combo on the statstick then going into serene storm (which I personally find annoying as I don't want to keep swapping back and forth to make sure the combo doesn't decay below 12x otherwise you lose the gladiator set bonus)

@@lespretend if the combo decays from 12x -> 11x you only lose a single gladiator stack. you probably won't even notice. also, you can use a Praetos with the perk that gives it combo on ammo pickup plus a weapon that auto-reloads or doesn't need to (tenet envoy, epitaph, etc). and just fire it occasionally to maintain combo without ever dropping 4. alternately you can use a Venka Prime to get to 13x, which does not get you another stack but gives you 20 more combo (4 meter drains w/ naramon) to shed before you lose a stack.

He is using one of the Tennogen skins.

Literally the only thing that is that different is reactive storm. I think it goes to show how broz can be a little close minded sometimes. I’ve been using a build like this since 2018

@@jaxonswove7466 Actually the main thing he was clowned on for is that Steel Path didn't exist. His gimmick of needing shitloads of enemies just didn't work since without Steel Path, nothing in the game really spawned enough enemies to build Restraint from.

The weapons that come with his Prime Access are unfortunately MR fodder in my opinion.

@@insertedgynamehere___969 okay i did see the video though, but it's like not that funny cause this one time it's not min maxing because building with narrow minded and blind rage actually makes you more funny and unkillable than umbral mods, i know it's the go to for people but there's a lack of build diversity when we think umbral builds are the best way to "overkill" a build, this imo is overkill in the wrong direction because you're getting worse results

@@gratianray2 It is a matter of prefrence not min maxing. More range and less duration makes it easier for Baruuk to manage his restraint meter and hampers his helminth choices even further and Blind Rage has an obvious impact on his casting efficiency so he went the ehp route for survivability, which works on Baruuk because of his various sources of damage mitigation. The thing about Baruuk is that his base kit is so good that it allows for a lot of modding flexibility.

@@xrufus7x468 sure, the build is fine for casting other abilities, but the way it was presented in the video, from my perspective ofc, made it seem like this was the overkill build, i think the build in this video is also less comfy and leaves you more vulnerable while making you work harder on top of that, while what i suggested is more about bettering your 4th ability and making you less killable, and the video did establish that his 4th ability is the reason to play this frame, armor stripping and CC is not the unique thing about baruuk, or even inherit because you need to subsume to strip armor i also think people would rather go back to rev if they try this build and realize their shield drops often and have to manage a lot to stay alive rather than just cast one ability every 1-2 minutes Also yes, it's gonna be harder to get restraint charge because people throw away his 1st ability over a subsume as if baruuk needs a band aid, when you can just activate it for a few seconds and get a full charge from a firing squad down a hallway, and then topping it off with 1 lull cast and you're good to go at the start of the mission edit: i realized this whole reply kind of doesnt matter, if someone makes a 3x umbral build, venka prime stat stick with gladiator mods, big red crits, then the purpose of this video or the build was to min max

@@gratianray2 Most Baruuk builds are overkill builds. As I said, his kit allows for a lot of flexibility in that regard. His 4 has so many ways to scale it up in damage that if you drop Blind Rage you can still absolutely decimate endurance steel path for an extended period of time. As for armor stripping, it not being inherent to Baruuk isn't a good thing,. He does have quite a bit of cc baked into his kit though and it is largely used in conjunction with Serene Storm. You can't build his restraint meter without it and without that you can't use Serene Storm. Also, having used both of these types of builds I do not agree with you on one of them being easier then the other. More range just means a bit more casting of Desolate Hands and less casting of Lull. You are also hampering your ability to support teams and defensive objectives by reducing your range. Also Elude is usually dumped because it is costly and unreliable in a group setting for building restraint and is by far the least versatile power on his kit. Lull has largely taken over in this role and IMO for good reason. Like I said, it isn't a matter of min maxing as both builds are viable anywhere you are taking them and both play to the strengths of the frame, albeit in slightly different ways but both are definitely Serene Storm focused builds. Personally, I would dump Arcane Fiber and run Blind Rage but after a ton of playtime with him, I would never recommend dumping range on him even if I was running Elude, hell especially if I was running Elude.

You can do both building combo with his 4 I find to be annoying though
