Thank you for watching and sorry for the wait, I hope it was worth it.
Baruuk is not a warframe that newer players are likely to obtain. The Prime makes him more accessible, but that won’t always be the case. Because of this, I will not be AS focused on making this guide accessible to newer players.
I do not do generally do level cap content. I cannot guarantee all my builds will perform well in a solo level cap setting.
My goal is to educate on how Baruuk’s kit functions so YOU can make informed decisions when building him to YOUR specifications.
While I aim to research and learn as much as I can about what I cover, there will always be something I miss. I invite people who have information I missed to leave comments so we can all benefit. If there is sufficient information I will write and pin a comment including the additional info along with the names of the individuals who contributed said information.

tbh if you're using adaptive storm anyway viral/heat 90’s is really the only thing there's any point in using due to how it works. Unless you're solo-only be very careful going any faster than primed fury+arcane strike (example: accidentally picking up wisp motes) as there's *still* a client side bug with melee that can break the desert wind animation, permanently until you extract. & you should always simply do all your testing on exo gokstads with SP modifiers on, this is pretty standard for testing in warframe & creates a baseline. regular heavy gunners & bombards are simply too squishy to bother with.
@sajinkahnalt
@sajinkahnalt 7 ай бұрын
I generally play with manic bombards and gokstads, but yes viral with the augment is generally better.
@obviouslee2061

So instead of using the 60/60 element mod use the 90 instead for both radiation and viral build? Quite new and don't understand this comment very much.
@JSL1CE
@JSL1CE 6 ай бұрын
@@obviouslee2061 adaptive storm already gives you +250% status chance, & usually, pretty much every other element *except* for viral/heat (you do sometimes see viral, but it's extremely rare). You get radiation whenever you punch alloy/murmur anyways so there's really no reason not to use the cold/heat 90's with primed fever strike.

@@sajinkahnalt not even bother watching 90 minutes of a WF video on 1 WF. Cringe asf way to long. "I had questions, so I got answers. Now you have them, too." as a note on something that's more interesting than it is practical is part of what makes your content so good. Doesn't always matter whether it's necessary or not, knowing just to know and sharing because you can is such a great attitude to have. It's also quotable as hell.

This is so fucking good. It's nice to get indepth conversations about not only how to use the abilities a warframe has, but also how the flavor and lore play into it. As someone who often prefers flavor over function, I greatly appreciate this content.
@sajinkahnalt
@sajinkahnalt 7 ай бұрын
Thank you for recognizing the more “flavorful” side of the video. After playing for almost 10 years I find it almost necessary for me to look into and appreciate the less functional aspects of the game and just play with what feels cool and fits well. There’s always going to be meta strategies and boxes to fit yourself into if you find it necessary to play with the absolute best, but for 90% percent of what the game actually demands and throws at you, really anything can work. Thanks for the lovely comment.

This last week I’ve been getting back to Warframe and found myself frustrated how difficult it can be to find extensive, clear, well organized analysis and breakdown of frames. I find there are a lot of videos out there that just assume I know what they’re talking about and/or just make a joke without explaining anything. I’m usually left with a build to copy but without any real, deeper understanding. Anyway, you have easily become my favorite Warframe channel. This is so strange to find. Most Warframe tutorials are just an overview of what their abilities are, a couple of builds, and maybe a facecam overlay if we’re feeling really spicy. This is… really something else man. I’m only about 20 minutes in, but I can see the amount of editing and research that went into this. As an engineering student I’ve seen real life assignments and projects with less preparation and research! This channel is really something man, and it’s just a shame that it’s so niche that more people won’t be able to find it and enjoy it. Waiting for the premiere to start right now, really excited! Probably gonna get Baruuk after watching this lol. By the way, have you thought of making a video on Garuda? In my opinion one of the strongest frames in the entire game, I've been maining her for a while and she has it all: insane i-frames from spammable 4th ability which is also a very good nuke, and it also gives a debuff to enemies hit that makes you deal slash with every hit on the marked enemies, spammable 3rd ability that gives energy AND clears status effects, strong spammable regen with Molt Reconstruct, just use any ability and you're back to full, a very good melee that you get simply by unequipping your melee weapon while using Garuda and more. Absolute monster of a warframe if I say so myself, strong enough to destroy steel path by simply spamming two (or three with Helminth) abilities, which is not a problem since you never run out of energy

Baruuk is a tank frame with anger management issues. For low level missions he is still good but he becomes a weapons platform, but he changes when in higher density missions. This makes him a two tier frame. Too many people are concentrating on his serene storm and forget he is still a good tank frame. With pillage on his first he is great for just blowing through low level missions. Also so many people are into big damage, there comes a point where killing something with 90,000 points of damage or 1,000,000 points of damage and it only takes 5000 point is just wasteful. Pillage, adaptation, desolate hands and equilibrium just makes Baruuk near immortal. He is like Nidus at that point wondering why the enemy is tickling him. Just watch out for nullifiers.

First off, such a great video, really helped me understand how this badass monk works. With the new Dante Unbound update, and the few updates in between the first upload and now, I'd like to know your opinion on the newer archon shards and his new 1 augment. I personally don't see any use for the new augment, but after trying the green shards (specifically the +2 max corrosive stacks) and a corrosive build on desert wind, I haven't felt a need for an armor strip ability. Of course, it’s probably not as good in level cap, but it especially helps since I don’t have access to tharros strike or pillage yet.
@sajinkahnalt
@sajinkahnalt 3 ай бұрын
If you can get baruuk to over 500 energy capacity then purple shards will be even more powerful than reds, however I’ve taken the stance that there is practically 0 reason for any of the new shards to exist, and anything that can be stripped by green shards will be dead before their armor is totally gone haha. You could also try doing some electric damage set up with purple shards to see how it’d work out, but you’d maybe want to get a crash course on how the buffs they provide function. I appreciate your compliments, thank you kindly

I just wanted to say that disarming enemies with desolate hands reduces restraint, so that's where the elude+desolate hands range increase comes in. This way you can use elude to reduce restraint even if you don't have a high range built into your kit, or if you have put enemies to sleep but they aren't disarmed. It would appear his kit has some synergy after all :) tldr; 2,1,3 button press with high range to sleep and disarm a bunch of enemies, and reduce lots of restraint or use when rooms are empty and elude's not being used to dodge
@sajinkahnalt
@sajinkahnalt 4 ай бұрын
Ok, so I did cover the fact that disarming enemies reduces restraint, both in the passive section and the Desolate Hands section. I don't know if you've watched the entire thing or just missed some info, but I'd caution your use of the word synergy here. Specifically because the presence of an interaction doesn't always equate to the presence of a synergy, because the word "synergy" implies a positive interaction. All the interactions between his first 3 abilities are actually completely wasteful or actively a hindrance on the others. This is why I used the term "Anti-Synergies". Before I go on I've actually had very little issue reducing restraint using Elude with low range specs. I'm gonna go into a bit of detail here, so excuse the wall of words, but it's important to explain why I consider your example of a synergy as a bit more of an anti-synergy, not that your input isn't valuable. To start, lets look at the interaction between his 1st and 3rd ability. His 3rd ability is probably the most valuable ability outside of his 4th ability, as it provides him enough damage reduction to survive most of the content in game. Range on his 3 is not desirable because a larger seeking range equates to less time with his DR charges. The fact that Elude of all things has a direct interaction with Desolate Hands, actively doubling it's seeking range is completely anti-synergistic. This is because it not only reduces the effective duration of your DR ability, making you spend more energy on it over the course of the mission, but Elude requires enemies to be armed with weapons to shoot at Baruuk in order to reduce his restraint economically (specifically referring to restraint reduction per energy spent on elude every second). In the single act of increasing the seeking range of Desolate hands Baruuk is hindered in 2 ways. Not to a huge extent luckily because it can kind of be shrugged off in higher level missions, but hindered nonetheless. Additionally, disarming enemies is really not a valuable thing to do in warframe, at least not at the rate that Baruuk can do it, so this extended range from Elude is more of a punishment than a positive interaction. AND EVEN ON TOP OF THAT, Having Elude active is almost a waste of the DR from his 3, at least as far as damage from regular enemy fire is concerned because now everything is passing through him, making the DR redundant in a way. It's still fine because damage from AOE and Status effects still hurts Baruuk with Elude active, but still, that's another example. Moving on to the interaction of his 1 and 2. It's just another version of needing enemies to shoot at you in order to reduce restraint with Elude. Putting enemies to sleep makes Elude borderline useless to have on. Luckily every enemy hit with Lull reduces restraint, but it's still a non interaction at best, and making his first ability completely useless if not significantly less effective for a time. At least withing a controlled setting with lower spawns. Now for his 2 and 3. Putting enemies to sleep is another means of effectively disarming them. The fact that Desolate Hands seeks out enemies that are sleeping would be completely redundant if it wasn't for each dart reducing restraint a little further. I would honestly prefer if darts didn't seek out sleeping enemies, and instead had Lull's restraint reduction per enemy increased for every dart Desolate Hand's has active. That would be a much nicer interaction that would actually support him. Now, if you like the interactions you laid out, then all power to you, but I really can't agree with how you suggested the interaction as a "synergy." It's an interaction sure, but a synergy requires a supportive or positive interaction, and all the interactions between his first 3 abilities are either completely neutral/inconsequential, entirely wasteful, or objectively combative with each other. In fairness, this would not be the case if there was more importance on disarming enemies, or putting them to sleep, but as it stands now, the best way to do things is to keep your DR by running low range, so you can continuously maintain restraint with elude, and not suffer the loss of your DR charges at a rapid frequency. I appreciate you taking the time to comment anyway, and I hope that the video was helpful to you regardless.
