Why is it that when investing over $250, we often encounter rust-prone parts, like bolts and nuts, instead of using stainless steel or titanium? This applies notably to high end arrow rests as well. If I'm making such a significant investment, I expect durable materials to ensure longevity, allowing me to pass it down to future generations. Additionally, it raises the question of why high-end sights don't universally offer a no-questions-asked lifetime warranty.

The only problem I've encountered with black gold is the photochromic aspect. When it's extremely sunny, it takes a while for the sight to transition back from purple. Honestly, I don't understand why it's necessary. I've never had a reason to dim my pins. If it were something like a glow-in-the-dark feature, that would make more sense to me. It could provide the opportunity to shoot in low light with illuminated pins, eliminating the need for an additional light source.

CBE is an underrated but great sight. The CBE Tech Pro 3v is a great sight at $330 in my opinion and very durable with micro adjustments.

Axcel Accu sight has an issue with its rheostat slide over the pins to dim or brighten them. If it’s not either all the way open or closed it makes vibration / noise

That's probably the whole front slider piece. Take it off and tighten the two tiny set screws underneath. Both my accuhunter, and accutouch, had to tighten the piece that holds the scope piece to the frame.

I have a Montana Black Gold Ascent Verdict & i have a 4 power lense atrachment on it. But i only use it on my 35" Prime 3D bow for target shooting. Its only 1st & 2nd axis adjustability which i think might be a negative about it as a pretty high end slider @ the time it came out. I strongly dislike sight tapes so to simplify the system i just marked it with a white contractors marker. Im not into long range shooting so it really isn't an issue to me but with all the technology I wonder why the sight tape is still a thing. Maybe guys change their arrows & hence change their tape like they would change a d-loop on their string.😮

For the type of hunting I do in the mountains, Black Gold is the only logical option. Durable, lightweight, precise machining, and excellent pins. I wish SH was not the weight of a hammer..it would be an option for me.

Why is Ultra View the sole company providing an excellent sight light option? It's baffling that their light is the only one lasting over a week without constant battery replacements. Moreover, why aren't sight lights designed to use commonly available batteries?

Own 2 Landslydes. One for 3D and one for Hunting, 3 pin scope on my hunting rig does everything on this mover. Hard to beat. As an older hunter who started out 35+ years ago, archery has always been a market that has left the archer left wanting. Just how it is. Influencers and tatted ultra-bowheads have made things more expensive and exclusive, but the average archer just needs to wait and they will get what they want when the fad fades.

@@josephfolsom2030 no I shoot traditional bows only. I was a bow tech for a few years and worked on all types of bows and all sights. I can clearly state which sights were the best made , highest quality materials used and the lightest weight,as well as the best warranty and the best customer service. Since I’ve had actual experience dealing with manufacturers and customers,it’s just a factual statement. Happy New Year 🎆 God Bless
