I don’t think a lot of people know how hard it is to recover from crying, and then sing! Snot all running down the back your throat 😂 I love Demi! My 22 year old daughter is 6 months sober from a heroin addiction. Demi has been a huge inspiration to her and our family!

Bethany Schmidt congratulations to your daughter, 6 months is no easy feat. I’m almost 2 years clean from heroin and Demi has been such an important person to me in my own recovery. I have watched this performance multiple times and have cried every time. I know how it’s feel to be in such a dark place with addiction like she was when she wrote this song. O K love to you too! 🌸 She sobbed through the whole performance too! She had to move away from everyone & everything. But it’s been so worth it. I told her the final time she overdosed, that she had to want to be sober more than absolutely ANY THING else on earth. And for anyone to choose that... people have NO idea how hard it is. It isn’t just the physical. It’s the emotional and mental hurdles that are the hardest. I mean, the physical sucks. (I’ve been through opiate withdrawals) But the “after” is the longest haul. So proud of you too!!!

Cin Dy; I feel ya! Struggling with depression is not easy esp when family members or friends are just going bout their own businesses and you feel like you're in a large room screaming out for help and nobody hears you...nobody's listening. If I gave you a list of the tragedies of my life it would probably make you feel a Lil bit better that you're not alone, and every problem doesn't have to be drugs or alcohol. He shares my pain and I know that the things in this life that happens to me can never compare to the things God has for me in His Kingdom. I'm not trying to go all religious on you but my faith is who I am and I can't apologize for it.😊 My motto has always been; NEVER TIRE NEVER GIVE UP 💝💝💝💝💝💝

I think demi is at a point in her life where she know that her emotion doesn't have to get the worst of her unless she allows it so her singing she was letting it out and I listen. To this song and it's so beautiful I mean I held myself from crying

Hi Andy. I knew this reaction was going to make me cry and it did. You are a genuinely nice guy and you have the kindest soul. You not only reacted to the performance itself, but also to the struggles she has been through plus made it clear to anyone, how exceptionally difficult this must have been. I never heard a more heartfelt performance then this, Demi can be very very proud that she did this...I mean My god..how fabulous and how emotional. We listen Demi..we will keep listening....

Thank you for this reaction, Andy ❤️ This performance touched my soul also as I have aslo struggled with drug addiction in the past. I'm so proud of Demi and the courage and strength it took for her to perform on stage. This especially hit so hard because we could have lost her when she overdosed. Thank God that she is still with us. I'm praying for her every day to stay strong and make the right choices in her life. Demi is too young and talented to leave this earth. But I can understand the things that she must feel. You just know that when she recorded this song 4 days before her overdose that she was crying out for help. I wish that someone had heard her 😢 Great reaction Andy ❤️ Your tears had me crying again but that's okay because this is a powerful song.
