You haven't seen much of Dimash yet so unfortunately you weren't aware of the quality of his MVs, they're all mini movies in themselves although usually much shorter than this. Dimash has spent 3 years working on The Story of One Sky. He composed the music, wrote the screenplay and as you saw acted the lead role. I like the fact that you actually got that the character Dimash plays in the end is the baby, it's supposed to be his son, the woman giving birth is Dimash's wife, the little girl she loses in the panic to escape the soldiers is their daughter which is why Dimash is screaming in anguish as he cradles the child's dead body in his arms. It's a complex monologue on the futility of war, how it turns former friends against each other and destroys families and innocent lives as collateral damage. I always take the final scene as a message of hope, that our children will eventually break us out of this cycle and into a better world where we try to communicate with our neighbours because in the end, regardless of nationality, colour or religion, essentially we all want the same thing. To live our lives and raise our families in peace and prosperity.

Dimash is muslim (Islam is called "the religion of peace and love"). And he is on a mission, and he is dead serious about it. the Piper saves Dimash in the beginning, Dimash marries the girl and they have the daughter that gets killed and the wife is pregnant with Dimash's son that's born at the end. Dimash found his daughter dead and assumed his pregnant wife got killed too, and with nothing left to live for, he sought out his childhood friend to put an end to this madness, sacrificing himself for the better good. The wife dies during childbirth and the multi religious group around the birth raise Dimash's baby who grows up to lead the multi religious group of people into the light of peace and Life. The story: 3 childhood friends including 2 boys are in love with the girl. The boy (Dimash) who offers the "talismans" he has made as a sign of friendship, will marry the girl (the "talisman" which looks like a 4 is a piece that is part of an ancient maritime compass and indicates the North). They will have a baby girl (the one who was killed) and the mother is expecting another baby. The third friend who became sovereign, the "Piper" (in reference to the "Piper of Hamelin") is now his enemy, he is "the one who has lost the North". By the way, the war sign of his hand on his other arm also looks like a 4. When Dimash dies, his son is born and his mother dies in childbirth. But the boy is saved by his community made up of people of all origins and religions and wears his mother's talisman. He will grow up like a war orphan and will then become this pilgrim, messenger of peace, worthy son of his father. Or does Dimash rise to heaven, I don't know? Dimash says that no sacred book calls for war, and we see in it the procession of all the united religions, like a "stations of the cross". (At the end, I think it's Dimash who takes the lead of the sages and they all go towards the light). In the story, Dimash thinks his pregnant wife died too, he lost everything. You see anger arise when the wise go through a storm. He must put an end to all this. He's going to kill his ex friend, who personifies evil. And when he turns to face the enemies, he does not seek to kill them. He lowers his weapon as if to say "kill me, I'm already dead. I did what I had to do". Masterpiece. Dimash and the girl were married. The little girl was his daughter. The newborn his son who grew up to be a leader of peace. Different religions, different cultures etc all represented in this film with a message to stop hate and be more accepting. The figure that looked like Christ I read was a message that Christ came to bring peace and was killed for his efforts. Dimash is a very deep thinker but a consistent one. He always calls for peace and love between all people and nations, cultures, religions etc.

This is by far the best explaination I have found. It was written by Heiderose Kober: This is subtitled "Requiem” but it is also a vision and a call to action. Dimash is steeped in sacred music and has a deep understanding of the mystic teachings and symbolism of the major world religions as well as Kazakh shamanism. It is not by coincidence that the first performance of this work took place on September 14, 2022, at the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Kazakhstan. The written statement at the end of the video is directly from the “Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together” signed jointly on February 4, 2019, by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad el-Tayeb. Dimash met and spoke with both men at the September meeting. Everything Dimash does is intentional, and this piece has layers that would take a dissertation to unravel. I only touch on some of what struck me in the symbolism. The music is a dissertation all by itself. The pendant is an interesting element. It is a gnomon from a maritime compass sundial. This triangular blade is attached to the sundial, casting a shadow on the sundial while the perforated pinhole projects the image of the sun onto the dial. It was used for both timekeeping and navigation, with the gnomon oriented to True North. (Thank you, Snarky Tart for that information). In the MV, (the taller child) who later becomes the military commander, never puts on the necklace. After Dimash, (the drowning boy), gives his friend the pendant. The camera focuses on his hand and shows that his friend has bent the gnomon in anger over being rejected by the girl (later Dimash's Wife and the mother of his daughter who is killed). Thus bent, it can never be oriented to True North, and he has lost his moral l compass. Later, we see a version of the gnomon as the military insignia on the uniforms of the commander and his soldiers, but distorted and without the hole that allows light to shine through rendering it useless as a compass. When we lose the original intent of a symbol by twisting it into something it is not or by just paying lip service, it no longer has any spiritual meaning. At best it becomes a useless prop, at worst it is used to mislead and manipulate people. Contemporary music is also present: With the phrase "We have passed the moment of Imagine," Dimash reminds us that we are past the sentiments evoked by the song "Imagine" by John Lennon. It is time to stop dreaming about a world of peace and harmony. If we choose life, if we wish for peace, if we want a world without war for our children and grandchildren, we must act and take up the long hard path up the mountain towards the light. It is the only way. The storyline is a very human one: we start as innocents until our hearts are broken, we fail, or our dreams are not realized. How can we rid the world of evil without becoming what we fight against? The burning sign "Waldenberg" is a reference to the end of WWII when the US Army destroyed the last of the resistance by the German Wehrmacht close to the end of the war in April 1945 in the part of Germany where I grew up. I have seen the aftermath of war as I was born a few years later when much of Germany was still in rubble. Waldenburg is only 28 miles from my hometown and was completely destroyed as you can see from the picture. Many of the dead in those bombed-out buildings were women and children. The good guys defeated evil but at what price? War is not the answer. Dimash's scream of “we’re choosing life” is that of giving birth: the old earthly consciousness of an eye for an eye has to die to make way for a new spiritual consciousness that embraces all life. Soul is breaking free to return to its natural state of love and purity as exemplified by the images of the children and the newborn baby. The blowing of the shofar signals God's mercy for humankind when it turns from wrong to right: in the Zohar, the book of Jewish mysticism, it says: “When human beings repent of their sins, they blow the shofar on earth. Its sound ascends On High and awakens the heavenly shofar, and so mercy is aroused and judgment is removed.” Reborn as a leader for peace and love, Dimash's character in the form of his son becomes a spiritual guide for all of mankind on our shared journey up the mountain towards the light of God, however we may interpret or name the divine. We are all on the same path, even if our personal narratives, cultural heritage, race, and spiritual orientations are very different from one another. By focusing on our common destination rather than on our differences, we can walk together in peace and love and mutual respect. Carl Jung wrote: “Knowing your own darkness is the best method for dealing with the darknesses of other people. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious. The most terrifying thing is to accept oneself completely. Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.” This is what Dimash has done with this work; he has made the darkness conscious. We can only raise our individual and collective consciousness by bringing to light what needs to be healed in our lives and our world, and then we need to work together to restore wholeness to what is broken and bring about peace and unity, one step at a time. She said: "Dimash can sing in a male baritone, countertenor and female contralto voice. This feature of the voice is considered a phenomenon in vocal art. A rare voice on earth is a treasure of the whole world. Such a unique voice is a different art which does not obey certain laws of the musical art. I agree that Dimash's voice doesn't follow musical rules because what he can do with his voice is so amazing that nobody can imitate him, so this makes him unique and incomparable. The video shows once again that Dimash is an absolute genius. In singing but also as an actor and as a storyteller. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. I think this video is mostly about the message. This message however, is for the first time more important than his vocal abilities. His voice is just the tool in this video. But indispensable and simply indescribable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately. But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps. He worked on this composition for three years and also wrote the screenplay. The premiere was on September 24, 2022. As some have mentioned, this video should be seen by many people. It may be very brutal for some. But let’s not forget that for many, including children, this is everyday life in some countries. And Dimash relentlessly shows us how ugly war is. Dimash was the littel boy who was drowning in the beginning and he gave the necklace to his childhood friend (and future leader) and the girl. The girl on the beach was his future wife. And she gave birth to her second child in the video. The littel girl who was shot was Dimashs and her first daughter. Desperation and maybe revenge has led him to kill his former friend. But violence always breeds violence, and because of this, not only is the leader dead, but so is Dimash. Dimash in the last sequence of the video was the baby (and not the dead Dimash walking in afterlife) that was born and now as a grown man unites people of different nationalities and religions for peace. Dimash was raised in a traditional culture with traditional values. His religion is Muslim, and part of his name actually means Gift From God. Dimash promotes respect and tolerance between all peoples, all cultures and all religions. He was raised to also view his extraordinary talent as something not his alone. He was taught that "With great gifts comes great responsibility" and he takes this very seriously. This is not the first performance piece where Dimash has conveyed a strong humanitarian or anti-war message. "Okay" { the message 'Not ok!' } is another powerful video. But this one addresses the most critical and urgent issue facing all of humanity today. Dimash asks; { I Interpret! } Do we follow the power mad aggressive territorial 'Pipers' - like a pack of hypnotised rats dancing to the Piper's' tune - straight off the extinction cliff? Or do we Chose Life. He says; We are at a final crossroads, the time is short, we need to turn onto the right path. He shows all peoples and all religions moving together toward a brighter future for humanity. When you review this mini-movie - even though he is singing in English - put the English captions on. There is so much going on here visually, that it's hard at times to take in the text. You picked up on the storyline almost exactly. 'Dimash' ends up killing the childhood friend who saved him - but who later had turned into a murderous dictator. But the act of saving him, enabled the marriage to the girl and the creation of the children. The symbolism of the creation of new life - out of death, and the chance and hope for a new future - a new pathway for all of humanity is powerful. These are my views on this amazing masterpiece The Story of One Sky - I have watched this many times and still find things out that i never thought of amazing video and i have said it before if anyone could bring peace i strongly believe Dimash could make it possible. This needs to be shared worldwide to show people there is another way. War is never the answer because the only ones to suffer are the innocent. Rewatched the song of Dimash today one line stood out to me One of the most profound lines in The Story of One Sky is the line "Learn to share the love, Not shares" Not shares meaning stop making money out of war rich people have many shares in companies that profit from weapon manufacturing making them richer while the innocent suffer sadly this is why war exists. MONEY, GREED and POWER. The part in the video with the little girl and the people in the hallway were Dimash's family who had been wiped out the little girl whose body he picked up was his daughter, the baby that was born was his son who grew up to be Dimash grown up at the end!!! The Dimash at the end can also be seen as Dimash in the afterlife leading others to the light in peace. This video needs to be shown worldwide. Something else i noticed is in his dying breath he sang (We're Choosing Life) as he finally passed away now that is powerful

Hello friend! Thank you for your sincere reaction, I just love that you were completely caught off guard and your reactions were priceless! When I first watched this MV, it broke me, I became very emotional, it was heart wrenching, to say the least!😢 You noticed that Dimash is the main solder right from the very beginning of the war scene, when he was shot in the arm, many people miss that? Dimash has worked very hard for 3 years composing the music for this song, and around 20 days to make this MV. It turned out to be his most valuable MV, in the ideological sense, ever made, a real Masterpiece! I believe that Dimash deserves THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE for his selfless hard work and tireless efforts, not only for this MV, but for trying to bring the world together in love, peace and harmony, through his music, MVs and many charities he dedicates his time to. He is a Legend and will go down in History. The mini movie is full of symbolisms, it's the story of 3 youths, and the necklace which was made by the young Dimash and shared with his friends symbolizing lifelong friendship and unity. The Piper grew up and started a war, using the symbol of the necklace as the crest on his army uniform. This is my breakdown of the story, as I see it: 1) Dimash, who was drowning at the beginning and at the end. 2) The Piper, the one who saved Dimash, and who became the leader, and who was killed by Dimash at the end. 3) The young girl, who died in childbirth, became Dimash’s future wife, had two children together; a daughter who was killed by the Piper's army; and the birth of a son at the end, who inherited the necklace from his mother…, they were all torn by the war. For the symbolic aspects, Dimash is showing the different cultures and religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hindi, etc.), through throat singing, which is called the REQUIEM (mass for the souls of the dead), from different religions. The Pilgrim, Shepard or Wise Man at the end of the video was Dimash’s newborn son, born in his image and grows up to guide the Representatives of different religions and race from different Nations to the light, for a new beginning living together in peace, tolerance, love and harmony. At one point we see a Christ-like looking character who seems to be in communion with the Almighty & surrenders his life, collapsing just as the young woman who became DQ's character's wife (the mother of his young murdered daughter and soon-to-be newborn son) actually giving birth whilst a group of praying persons attend the birth of a child they suspect is fated to become the prophet who will lead them out of their hells-on-earth; both those personal ones of their own making as well as the current one of a singular man's war of choice that has brought them to their shared suffering under the same sky. The Pope gave him a medal of gold. He sang this live at his recent concert in Kazakhstan. In this story you must follow the necklaces. The drowning boy grows up to be the soldier. He is married to the girl grown up. They have a daughter who gets killed. She is pregnant and dies giving birth to their son. The soldier (Dimash) kills his former friend the commander, who is the taller boy who saved his life as a boy. The commander's necklace is bent. The symbol is a gnomon, which is the main part of a sundial. The commander has lost his way and has a warped view of peace and war. The soldier kills the commander and he is killed in turn. He is back in the water where he was drowning as a child. He dies at the moment that his baby boy is born and his wife/mother of the baby dies in childbirth. Excellent reaction. I thought if they had altered Dimash's appearance a little at the end (as he acts the role of his son the unifier) that transition might have been less ambiguous. Fantastic work by Dimash though, seems untoppable.

Dimash has done several really good masterpieces and videos which are works of art. You will see. He only competed in competitions early in his career. Now he composes and works on many songs with different composers, esp Igor kutroy. He sings in over 12 languages in many genres. You can see him do rap to opera. He’s very spiritual and has strong morals/character. A great respect for his country and family which is why us Dears love him. Xx

Dimash es unico....desde que inicio dijo que queria una casa disquera que le dijera que podia cantar....siempre a cantado lo que siente y lo que le transmite y quiere transmitir a los demas. Dimashali Creative Center is the name of his production company and he has had that for a number of years now. This is an original. Composed by Dimash and he also wrote the script. And of course worked closely with the lyricist and the director. This was a project 3 years in the making. Music videos are nothing new for him He has quite a few that he has done over the years.

The people walking through the desert are people from all different religions coming together as one, since we are all living under One Sky. Dimash wants us to stop fighting and stop using war as a tool to get what we want. Beautiful master piece
