If you have time, check out the live performance of this masterpeace by Dimash at the concert in Almaty 2022, Part 3, from 24:25. Here the enormous vocal power of Dimash is even more recognizable. - I wish more people would understand how wars arise, why and who they serve.

This took 3 years to come to fruition, he composed the music, wrote the screenplay, funded the whole thing himself and acted the lead role like a pro. (Btw you probably missed it but he was in it from the opening scene of the fighting, he was the soldier creeping in silhouette under the shelter and was the one shot in the arm inside the derelict building) I honestly don't think anyone else could have pulled this off, to have the range of skills needed to conceive this idea and bring it to completion requires a deep thinking mindset that I don't think many in the music industry possess these days. Luckily for us Dimash remains a completely independent artist as i can't see many record companies being willing to stump up the kind of money and time that this masterpiece took to make.

Dimash was the boy who was drowning, the boy who saved him became the general, the girl becomes the wife of Dimash. The little girl found dead was the child of Dimash, the woman giving birth is the wife of Dimash giving birth to his son. At the end Dimash leading all the religious leaders is the grown up child that was born. Love your appreciation for our wonderful Dimash. ❤❤❤❤

The title itself - “Story of One Sky” - is thought-provoking. Before Islam became the predominant religion in Kazakhstan, the nomadic people of the steppes followed Tengriism with Father Sky and Mother Earth as deities. Like many old pantheistic religions, its core tenet was the “unity of all things” since everything in the natural world is animated by and connected through spirit. This concept of spiritual unity lives on in Kazakh traditions, music and poetry. It is subtitled "Requiem” to commemorate and mourn all those who have died in war and in the struggle for peace, but it is also a vision for the future and a call to action to save ourselves and our world. Raised in an observant Muslim household, classically trained in music, educated in world and Kazakh history, and immersed in literature and folklore, Dimash has a deep understanding of sacred music and the mystic teachings and symbolism of the major world religions as well as ancient traditions, so it is not by coincidence that the first performance of this work took place on September 14, 2022, at the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Kazakhstan. The written statement at the end of the video is directly from the “Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together” signed jointly on February 4, 2019, by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad el-Tayeb. Dimash met and spoke with both men at the September meeting. Everything Dimash does is intentional, and this piece has layers that would take a dissertation to unravel. I only touch on some of what struck me in the symbolism. The music is a dissertation all by itself. The pendant is an interesting element. It is a gnomon from a maritime compass sundial. This triangular blade is attached to the sundial, casting a shadow on the sundial while the perforated pinhole projects the image of the sun onto the dial. It was used for both timekeeping and navigation, with the gnomon oriented to True North. (Thank you, Snarky Tart for that information). In the MV, the child who later becomes the military commander never puts on the necklace. After Dimash, the boy, gives his friend the pendant, the camera focuses on his hand and shows that his friend has bent the gnomon in anger over being rejected by the girl. Thus bent, it can never be oriented to True North, and he has lost his moral compass. Later, we see a version of the gnomon as the military insignia on the uniforms of the commander and his soldiers, but it is distorted and without the hole that allows light to shine through rendering it useless as a compass. When we lose the original intent of a symbol by twisting it into something it is not or by just paying lip service, it no longer has any spiritual meaning. At best it becomes a useless prop, at worst it is used to mislead and manipulate people. Dimash interweaves the past and the present, the ancient and the modern, throughout this work. Alluding to more contemporary music, with the phrase "We have passed the moment of Imagine," Dimash reminds us that we are past the sentiments evoked by the song "Imagine" by John Lennon. It is time to stop dreaming about a world of peace and harmony to be achieved by erasing our differences and giving up our identities. The world is complex, cultural roots run deep, and people experience life quite differently across the globe. If we choose life, if we wish for peace, if we want a world without war for our children and grandchildren, we must find common ground while respecting our differences and take up the long hard path up the mountain towards the light. It is the only way. The storyline is a very human one: we start as innocents until our hearts are broken, we fail, or our dreams are not realized. If in our pain and disappointment, we turn to anger and blame instead of acceptance, power instead of love, greed and envy instead of generosity, hatred instead of forgiveness, and revenge instead of justice, we sow the seeds for conflicts that can turn into war. We see that happening every day around us. The Piper's call is seductive as it promises redress for our grievances, control over our circumstances, and power over those who thwarted us, and this appeals to our wounded ego. However, let's remember that the Piper is a symbolic figure of Death from the Middle Ages, often used as a metaphor for trusting and following charismatic but dangerous and malevolent leaders to certain death. Many of us remember the story of the Pied Piper of Hameln from our childhood. Even if we resist, as the adult Dimash character does, we often employ the same methods and weaponry as the Piper, and thus those who fight back betray peace as well because peace cannot be won through violence. That is the dilemma of those of us who did not start war, who do not support war, but are forced to respond in order to defend ourselves and those we love. How can we rid the world of evil without becoming what we fight against? The burning sign "Waldenberg" is a reference to the end of WWII when the US Army destroyed the last of the resistance by the German Wehrmacht close to the end of the war in April 1945 in the part of Germany where I grew up. I have seen the aftermath of war as I was born a few years later when much of Germany was still in rubble. Waldenburg is only 28 miles from my hometown and was completely destroyed. There are no winners in war. Dimash is right: war is death. The last movement is powerful: The cries over the loss of a beloved child and the cries of giving birth to new life are presented as a call-and-response grounded by a powerful Om chant and punctuated by the sound of Tibetan bells that create a sacred space, reminding us that death and birth are both sacraments and are interwoven in the tapestry of life. The birth underground is reminiscent of the sacred cave Akmeshit (White Mosque) found in Southern Kazakhstan, an ancient place of power said to heal diseases and cure infertility. Dimash's vocalization and the pilgrims representing world religions and religious leaders, past and present, walking up the sacred mountain together shift the narrative toward the final conflict and finally redemption. With the mountain scenes, Dimash alludes to another sacred place in Kazakhstan on the Kazakh/Russian border, Ice Mountain, which is referred to by the local Altai residents as “The dwelling of the Gods” and by Buddhists as the location of the Shambhala, the legendary country of Gods. When Dimash’s character decides to avenge the murder of his daughter, his state of consciousness is reflected in the darkening of the sky with lightning bolts of anger accompanying the storms of his emotions that buffet the pilgrims. The fog of war obscures the light. When he is killed after exacting retribution, he is dropped back into the "sacred womb" of Earth, the ocean of love and mercy, and is cleansed of the old hatreds and grievances that only bring more death and suffering. He breaks the wheel of endless war and suffering by choosing life. Dimash's scream of “we’re choosing life” is also that of giving birth: the old earthly consciousness of an eye for an eye has to die to make way for a new spiritual consciousness that embraces all life. Soul is breaking free to return to its natural state of love and purity as exemplified by the images of the children and the newborn baby. The blowing of the shofar signals God's mercy for humankind when it turns from wrong to right: in the Zohar, the book of Jewish mysticism, it says: “When human beings repent of their sins, they blow the shofar on earth. Its sound ascends On High and awakens the heavenly shofar, and so mercy is aroused and judgment is removed.” There is a very moving scene where pilgrims bury a man who perished on the journey. Men of different faiths come together to honor his life and his passing. This reverent expression of love and unity stands in stark contrast to the commander’s harsh pronouncement that it is war that unites people. Reborn as a leader for peace and love, Dimash's character in the form of his son becomes a spiritual guide for all of mankind on our shared journey up the mountain towards the light of God, however we may interpret or name the divine. We are all on the same path, even if our personal narratives, cultural heritage, race, and spiritual orientations are very different from one another. By focusing on our common destination rather than on our differences, we can walk together in peace and love and mutual respect. Carl Jung wrote: “Knowing your own darkness is the best method for dealing with the darknesses of other people. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious. The most terrifying thing is to accept oneself completely. Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.” This is what Dimash has done with this work; he has made the darkness conscious. We can only raise our individual and collective consciousness by bringing to light what needs to be healed in our lives and our world, and then we need to work together to restore wholeness to what is broken and bring about peace and unity, one step at a time. As the hymn goes: "Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me." Dimash is a very spiritual person, so using the symbols and sounds of the major world religions is fitting for this work. For those who do not subscribe to any faith tradition, I want to mention Neil DeGrasse Tyson’s latest book “Starry Messenger” where this agnostic scientist calls for the need to develop a cosmic perspective along with the rationality of science to solve the intractable human conflicts that so often lead to war. It is on that HIGHER ground - be it in religion, humanism, or science - that we can find COMMON ground.

@@teresaz-l2963 It would be nice if that were true. But it isn´t. People do not just believe things in private, but they usually act according to their beliefs. And they want everyone else to follow their religious views. Think of topics like abortion or homosexuality: "If MY religion forbids that, it must be forbidden for everyone in society!". And some even think infidels should be killed. Religion is dangerous to humanity!

Fully agree! And, if any of you haven't yet experienced a live performance of this - not the Almaty concert, with all the drones buzzing around - here's a link to the very first premier. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/q8l1hMVjtczSn4E.html Kazakhstan was selected to host the most recent interreligious conference of world religious leaders. Dimash, being a national treasure, was asked to present something. So, Dimash came up with this magnus opus, which is from a story he'd worked on for about 10 years prior. He'd asked attendees to the conference who recorded this performance not to post it before the video and his Almaty concert opened. Side note : Pope Francis requested an audience with Dimash, presenting him with a commemorative Vatican medal for his contribution.

the film is based on a story written by Dimash with his own screenplay. (I worked on this piece for 3 years). Director Alina Veripya spoke about creating the music video for the new song: the clip is divided into several parts. The first is about childhood. The main character, two friends linked by childhood stories and symbols of eternal friendship. One day the friend saves the protagonist when he drowns. However, there is already competition in these children's story, where the boys love one girl and she chooses one. The second goes through a kind of psychological The disintegration and transformation of children's problems into an adult world of totalitarianism and struggle. When he becomes a commander, the opponent carries the idea of saving the war: the young boy who presents the tokens of friendship he made will marry the girl (Dimash). She will give birth. A baby girl (murdered) and a mother waiting for another baby. Friends were scattered, and the third friend became an enemy, friends are enemies, because of the war, It is shocking how the cry of true helplessness of a father embracing his murdered daughter is practically coupled with the cries of a woman in labor who brings a child into the traumatized world of soldier (Dimash). That he was searching for his family and that he had found the dead body of his daughter and I think believing that his pregnant wife had also died, and felt the death of life, he decides, as the only way out in that moment of uncontrollable pain is revenge. He killed the evil embodied in his opponent, and then was killed by soldiers' bullets. ,and when Dimash died, his son was born, and the mother died during childbirth. But the boy is saved by his society of different religions and races, he wears his mother's talisman. He will surely grow up and become a messenger of peace on earth, like a worthy son of his father.A symbol of a future without evil, without wars, a world moving towards peaceful coexistence. The light of hope and peace on earth,In a world without walls, without unfair constraints, without differences or contempt for different ethnic groups or nations because the supreme value above all is: love and peace We are all human beings, we share the same planet Earth, and we owe each other as "brothers" the respect for life. In the end, he joined with people of different races and religions from another era that touches the present and the future In a world without walls, without unfair constraints, without differences or contempt for different ethnic groups or nations because the supreme value above all is: love and peace We are all human beings, we share the same planet Earth, and we owe each other as "brothers" the respect for life. ,Piper represents the force Totalitarian, oppressor who is not alien to us and who understands that war is the way to make people free (real nonsense).Piper (is the name of a soldier's opponent, a soldier who only hates, annihilates and destroys. What a paradox for a friend who, in his childhood, saves soldier Dimash from drowning. But life is like this, full of changes, good and bad, Evil, war and contempt happen when we lose love for one another, and our way to God and making peace and love in the world is not difficult but possible if we work together for love and peace and stop wars, hate and contempt. It is about calling for cooperation, to save lives, love, friendship and the land of our children. “Art is a sacred message in life, and these are the true artists.. And the earth needs these reformers in their precious, true and immortal work for the sake of love and peace on earth..Thank God for his gifts

You can see the three necklaces all throughout the film if you watch closely. Both of the boys on the beach in the very beginning is in love with the girl. She rejects the tall one (who saved his friend from drowning) and chooses Dimash (who made the necklaces). As grownups Dimash and the girl has a daughter and as the war rages she is pregnant, about to deliver their son. The third of the childhood friends has turned to darkness and is the leader of the war. The scene where Dimash is wounded and is sitting down and takes out his neckless, you can see his wife doing the same thing, whilst holding there daughter, as if they connect in that very moment, and Dimash decides to leave the war and make his way home to the place where his family lives. During this time the building is raided by soldiers, and Dimashes daughter is killed... His wife is saved/hidden and gives birth to their son. But you can see her sitting up lifeless behind the baby. She died during delivery. Dimash returns home to the horrors of loosing everything and everyone, and finding his daughter shot and killed... He decides to revenge his family, and I guess also try to end the war by seeking up his old friend now leader of the war. They both end up dead... The people wandering trough the dry land and through storms and hardships are fleeing this war. Fugetives in their own land. And the end is almost dreamlike and symbolic. Dimashes son has grown up. And he CHOOSES LIFE, and walks towards a new day, a new future. Seeking harmony and peace, followed by people from all religions, all walks of life, different from one another, but choosing to live side by side in acceptance, respect and understanding... Dimash has spoken about his concerns about the state of our planet many, many times. He has said in interviews that he wishes to use the platform that he has been given to try to bring people from all over the world closer together, regardless of our differences. He is a true humanitarian and a bearer of PEACE.... ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

More movie details: (1) The three (children) and the two boys disputed the girl's attention; (2) The character (which Dimash represents as an adult) created a symbol to confirm friendship between the three, after being saved by his friend; (3) Still in the video we see the girl choose "Dimash" and then they get married and have the little girl (who was killed) as a daughter and the mother is pregnant with another boy; (4) The older boy (who saved "Dimash" from drowning) does not accept being abandoned by the girl and becomes a dictator president/general; (5) Dimash becomes a soldier who decides to return from combat to protect his war refugee family; (6) Dimash finds his daughter dead and thinks that his wife had also died, so he decides to take revenge on his friend; (7) He kills the dictator and is killed regretting the violence he committed in life; (8) Dimash's wife is welcomed by people of different religions who agree that Dimash's son is someone special; (9) The wife dies in childbirth and Dimash's son becomes a leader who leads the refugees to a better place, of tolerance, respect and acceptance.

Dimash is an Ambassador of Peace, so you might question why would he create such a video, this shows so many realities, however unfortunate they are, and even when you stand for peace, you must defend yourself and your family against those who are killing everyone. The change from childhood friends to how this ends is also very realistic, as children we are innocent, but even in this video the boy who saved Dimash resented him because of the girl, it seems at that point darkness overtook him, where he changed the symbol so light didn’t shine through and it went from a symbol of friendship to power. As with all true art, people’s perception of the meaning, or their own personal thoughts about the ending vary, is that Dimash walking with the other victims of war from all religious backgrounds together toward the light or is it his son leading people in peace, for me, Dimash is in the afterlife joining the same people who we saw on their journey toward the light, no matter what religion, nationality, or anything else that makes us different we are all humans living under one sky. Thank you Nick for sharing your thoughts, I agree that this takes multiple views to get the symbolism and details, Dimash’s voice is more of a soundtrack for what you are seeing, the visuals are quite powerful, I definitely agreed with the other comments about watching the live performance from the Almaty concert, it’s incredible ❤.

I'm 74 and this grabbed my soul. Stunningly beautiful both visually and musically. There is so much parallel with what is happening in that area. i sincerely hope that the power currently provoking conflict doesn't censor him and his music. Through conflict we as various people are the same and will come together to survive.

Hello Nick! Thank you for your sincere reaction! When I first watched this MV, it broke me, I became very emotional, it was heart wrenching, to say the least!😢 Have you noticed that Dimash is the main solder right from the very beginning of the war scene, when he was walking under the overpass, and also when he was shot in the arm, many people miss that? Dimash has worked very hard for 3 years composing the music for this song, and around 20 days to make this MV. It turned out to be his most valuable MV, in the ideological sense, ever made, a real Masterpiece! I believe that Dimash deserves THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE for his selfless hard work and tireless efforts, not only for this MV, but for trying to bring the world together in love, peace, and harmony. He is a Legend and will go down in History. This is my breakdown of the story, as I see it: This mini movie is full of symbolisms, it's the story of 3 youths, and the necklace which was created by the young Dimash and shared with his friends symbolizing lifelong friendship and unity. The boys both loved the same girl, but she loved Dimash, and the other boy grew resentment with time and grew up to become the Piper and started a war, using the symbol of the necklace as the crest on his army uniform. 1) Dimash, was the boy drowning at the beginning and at the end. 2) The Piper, is the one who saved Dimash, became the leader, and was killed by Dimash at the end. 3) The young girl, who died in childbirth, became Dimash’s future wife, had two children together; a daughter who was killed by the Piper's army; and the birth of a son at the end, who inherited the necklace from his mother…, they were all affected by the war. For the symbolic aspects, Dimash is showing the different cultures and religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hindi, etc.), through throat singing, which is called the REQUIEM (mass for the souls of the dead), from different religions. I’M CHOSING LIFE!!🙏🙏 See you in your next reaction. Love from Canada 💖

This is a masterpiece. I watched this many times and the end still puts tears in my eyes. According to Dimash he does not want to be considered a prophet. What the Christian imagery is concerned, it is not the main message he wants to convey, all religions are depicted in this video ( also, Dimash is Muslim). That’s why at the end, people from all faiths are walking together towards the light.

PURE ANGUISH. As he walks down the hall approaching the door and sees his daughter's body, that haunting "yodel" melissima he is doing is the ancient traditional Kazakh throat "chant of mourning" and it just kills me ! A cold hand around my heart it stays in my head and I keep hearing that terrible anguish and grief in his voice. Dear God, he is brilliant at what he does, this piece is inspired.

These are my views on this amazing masterpiece Story of One Sky - I have watched this many times and still find things out that i never thought of amazing video and i have said it before if anyone could bring peace i strongly believe Dimash could make it possible. This needs to be shared worldwide to show people there is another way. War is never the answer because the only ones to suffer are the innocent. Rewatched the song of Dimash today one line stood out to me One of the most profound lines in The Story of One Sky is the line "Learn to share the love, Not shares" Not shares meaning stop making money out of war rich people have many shares in companies that profit from weapon manufacturing making them richer while the innocent suffer sadly this is why war exists. MONEY, GREED and POWER. The boy who was drowning was (Dimash's character as a child) made the necklaces that were given to the girl who grew up to be (Dimash's pregnant wife) and the boy who saved him who (grew up to be the military leader), possibly out of jealousy. The military leader waged his war The part in the video with the little girl and the people in the hallway were Dimash's family who had been wiped out the little girl whose body he picked up was his daughter, the baby that was born was his son who grew up to be Dimash grown up at the end!!! The Dimash at the end can also be seen as Dimash in the afterlife leading others to the light in peace. Something else i noticed is in his dying breath he sang (We're Choosing Life) as he finally passed away now that is powerful

The lyricist isn't even English, they is Russian . He is surrounded by non-English speakers so that explains a lot. Today, at the Kazakh artist’s fan meeting with his fans, the audience saw the MV to this work for the first time. The film is based on a story written by Dimash, with his own screenplay. The clip is divided into several parts. The first one is about childhood. The main character, his 2 friends are connected by childhood stories and symbols of eternal friendship. One day the friend saves the Protagonist when he drowns. However, there is already competition in this children’s story, as the boys are in love with one girl, and she chooses one. The second experiences a kind of psychological breakdown and transfers the children’s problems into the adult world of totalitarianism and struggle. The main character also speaks of unity, of peace, but through the lens of kindness and love. While fighting, he is confused, he is in shock, but he has to save his family - his pregnant wife (the very girl from his childhood) and his daughter. Once home, he is horrified by the picture of the dead and realizes that his family is also dead. After surviving this drama, he moves on to the antagonist to seek revenge. However, the Protagonist’s wife survives with the help of people who know that she is the one who must give birth to a special boy who can save the world. These are people of different nationalities and faiths who have united for peace. A parallel line of pilgrims are people of different religions, walking the hard path to some place of power where they could unite and discover the Heavenly Eye that would illuminate the world. By uniting, they create a common energy in which the protagonist’s son is born, as Hope and Faith for the Better. Their journey is a symbol of faith in general, because it always goes through trials. When we go to the truth, we go through certain lessons and our way to God is difficult, but only possible if we come together. This clip is not about war, it’s about peace. War here is a means of expressing the contrast of what happens when we lose love for one another. It is about the call to unite, to stop dividing each other along national, social, religious lines in order to preserve life, love, friendship, and the land for our children.

🛑❗IT CAN NEVER BE DONE AGAIN ! They said. The difficulty, complexity, precision of thought and music intellect necessary to do so, impossible was the belief after the great pianist composer Franz Liszt composed the first Symphonic Tone Poem in the early 1800s and changed music forever. Along came a very young Dimash, who stood on his shoulders and composed his, then wrote a screenplay, acted it, sang it, put it in movie format, distributed it and blasted it into 21st century history ! Reeling and gasping their intellectual breaths, the American music establishment writ large; the composers, musicians, artists and executives are now beating on his door asking for meetings which he recently obliged for three weeks in LA and there is much talk in industry trade journals of awards. Word on the street is, they are only just realizing they are grasping at a comet by the tail who has millions of fans around the world who adore him 😉 and he pretty much calls his own shots. Hee ! Doncha love it ? Nick, it is always a pleasure to meet a professional who appreciates this fine, humble, gentleman who works with dignity, grace, and so very hard. I wish you great luck on your channel and in life ! Thank you for your time and effort on our behalf and I'm looking forward to hearing more of your opinions and comments. Patty 🌷

The little boy who was drowning grew up to be the reluctant soldier played by Dimash. The boy who saved him grew up to be the cruel dictator/commander. The young girl who held his hand grew up to be Dimash's character's wife. The three of them each still have the pendants young Dimash made for them. One used the symbol and twisted into a symbol of total power at all costs. The little girl in the hallway was their daughter. The house he found her in was their home. The piper had targeted it. His wife got away, went into labor, and had their son just as he found their daughter's body. His wife died in childbirth. Her pendant was given to their newborn. He grew up to look a lot like his father..lol. It's he who is leading at the end. And all of this happens in the same time and era, but in different locations. It's all parallel. The people from various religions, etc, are on a pilgrimage towards the light at the same time the other events are happening.

This has nothing or very little to do with Christianity as such, the pilgrims wandering through the desert were of many differing faiths and that was the only different time period, as was seen at the end, Dimash's son survived to lead them in their search for the light. Dimash is a genius and was responsible for coming up with this concept. Writing the screenplay and script as well as composing the music for this beautiful masterpiece. He also had his words written into English lyrics. He worked vert closely with the director to make sure it was done exactly as he envisioned it. He also, of course, acted incredibly well and very professionally in the lead role. Yes, that little girl was his daughter. The woman giving birth was his wife and the dictator, his friend from the beach. This work was shown in two important film festivals in London, one in which he received a nomination. I hope it gets seen in more. Dimash is a master at giving subtle hints and suggestions in all his music videos, which, to be honest, are all short films and of cinema quality. Everything Dimash touches is high quality. Dimash had the honour to present this live in front of the top world religions leaders in a meeting of them in Kazakhstan. He was invited to meet the pop, the head of the Muslim faith and others and he was presented with a medal as a gift from the Pope. You can watch his life performances from any of his Stranger, World Concert Tour by virtue of excellent quality fan cams on KZfaq. Just search for them and there are many to choose from ❤

Congrats on the reaction! Well, some considerations: (1) The artifact that the boy found in the trunk and that was turned into necklaces is a "gnomon", a needle for a sundial (a rustic device for keeping time); (2) The name "Piper" (piper, or piper) is known as a synonym for "dictator", "despot": This originates from the tale of the "Pied Piper of Hamelin" (folk tale rewritten by the Brothers Grim), where a piper was hired to deal with the rat infestation of the city of Hamelin (Germany, 1284). After hypnotizing the rats with his magic flute and drowning them in the Weser, the artist went to collect the amount owed (one coin per head) and was not paid (they alleged that he did not present the "heads" of the rats). He then hypnotized one hundred and thirty children from the city of Hamelin and locked them in a cave. Yeah, well, the "pied piper" (also called "ratcatcher") has become synonymous with the tyrant who uses a mesmerizing speech and leads to death! (3) The term "Imagine" refers to the song of the same name by John Lennon; (4) The final text is part of the document generated at the VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, held in Nur-Sultan (Kazakhstan) on 09/14/2022 and was attended by Pope Francis, representing the Catholic Church and who presented Dimash, on the occasion, with a medal of gratitude.

Thank you for your wonderful reaction of the video. In The Story Of One Sky he sings the whole soundtrack himself. The video shows once again that Dimash is an absolute genius. In singing but also as an actor and as a storyteller. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. I think this video is mostly about the message. This message however, is for the first time more important than his vocal abilities. His voice is just the tool in this video. But simply unbelievable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately. But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps. You probably have to see it more than once to understand it. He worked on this composition for three years and also wrote the screenplay. The premiere was on September 24, 2022. As some have mentioned, this video should be seen by many people. It may be very brutal for some. But let’s not forget that for many, including children, this is everyday life in some countries. And Dimash relentlessly shows us how ugly war is. Dimash was the little boy who was drowning in the beginning and he gave the necklace to his childhood friend (and future leader) and the girl. The girl on the beach was his future wife. And she gave birth to her second child in the video. The littel girl who was shot was Dimashs and her first daughter. When he came home and saw his daughter dead on the ground, he had to assume that his wife was also killed. Desperation and maybe revenge has led him to kill his former friend. But violence always breeds violence, and because of this, not only is the leader dead, but so is Dimash. It was so heartbreaking to see Dimash drown at the end. Dimash in the last sequence of the video was the baby that was born and now as a grown man unites people of different nationalities and religions for peace. OMG he is such a phenomenal actor. But it‘s funny how very few reactors realize that the soldiers shot in the arm at the beginning of the war scenes was Dimash. If you want to know more about this video check out dimashnews. com Btw, Dimash has received an award from Pope Francis personally at The Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions held in Kazakhstan on September 13, 2022. He performed the song there in connection with the congress before the premiere. Can you imagine, a Muslim receiving an award from the head of the Catholic Church. How wonderful is that🥰. He also gave a speech at the first Central Asian Media Forum, in which he once again strongly advocated peace. You can see it with English subtitles. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/aKllaMRk0tzKgA.html The official live version of his concert (on September 23, 2022 in front of 30,000 people from 68 different countries) is available on his channel Almaty concert part 3 from minute 23:15 with a short speech in which he performed the song for the first time. You should definitely see this. There are subtitles in English kzfaq.info/get/bejne/j7ZhpZyo0dHReIk.html Greetings and love from Germany👋❤️

great reaction as always. Dimash wrote this, it took him 3 years to have it made and apparantly is the most expensive music video ever. The kids on the beach were of course Dimash and his friends. The woman and little girl were his wife and daughter and the baby born at the end was Dimash's son. Its him you see at the end grown up. Great message about the futility of war, no matter what your religion is (most religions shown).

Dimash News published an interview with the director of this film Alina Veripya. Here's what she says: "The clip is divided into several parts. The first is childhood. One friend saves another when he drowns. The boys are in love with one girl, and she chooses one. The second one is going through a kind of psychological breakdown and transfers children's problems into the adult world of tolerance and struggle.Having become president, the Antagonist carries the idea of a saving war, he says that War for people is the way to unity. The Goavny hero also talks about unity, about peace, but through the prism of kindness and love. During the fighting, he is confused, he is in shock, but he must save his family - his wife and daughter. Once home, he is horrified by the picture of dead people and realizes that his family also died. Having survived this drama, he moves to the antagonist to take revenge. However, the wife of the heads.the hero survived with the help of people who know that it is she who must give birth to a special boy who can save the world. These are people of different faiths, but nationalities who united for the sake of peace. A parallel line of pilgrims are people of different religions walking a difficult path to a certain place of power where they could unite and open a heavenly eye that will illuminate this world. United, they create a common energy, in which the son of the main character is born, as hope and faith in the best. Their way is a symbol of faith in general because it always goes through trials. When we go to the truth, we go through some lessons and our path to God is difficult, but it is possible if we unite. This clip is not about war, it's about peace. The war here is a contrast of what happens if we lose love for each other. It is about the call to unite, to stop dividing each other according to national, social, religious principles in order to preserve life, love, FRIENDSHIP, and land for our children."

Every time I watch this video- either with a reaction video or from Dimash’s channel- further nuances to Dimash’s message become evident. I have read from others that there is a manifesto of sorts that details the storyline, but have not read this myself. The beginning shocks the listener and introduces us to the symbol that is featured throughout this video: the triangular part of a nautical compass (the name eludes me). Some people identify this symbol as reference to the “moral compass “ and it becomes evident when this modified symbol occurs before “Piper’s“ despotic speech that the hole that allows the sun to go through the part is missing. There is no light. Only darkness. There were only three recipients of the necklace that the young version of Dimash made: Piper, Dimash’s character and the young girl. From the stellar acting of these young thespians, we see Piper’s longing towards the little girl and her complete relief of Dimash junior’s survival. We next see these characters as adults, with Dimash and the young girl being parents of a daughter and expecting another during this conflict that Piper has created. War. Dimash is forced to fight and defend himself and his family. We see the reference to the Nazi’s of WWII in the name on the sign after the daughter is gunned down. Innocence destroyed by war. Dimash’s cries of despair echo with his wife’s cries of pain. Anguish from both. Dimash decides to end the tyranny his former friend has created and this leads to the confrontation and self-sacrifice of Dimash. We’re choosing life. Powerful. Evocative and a masterpiece. The end returns us to the beginning . The cycle of life. The message is poignant and powerful. Enjoyed watching your emotional journey. Cheers from Canada!

Listen to a no less talented performer than Dimash! I recommend making a reaction to one of the coolest female vocalists in the world. Diana Ankudinova - Queen of Goosebumps - Diana received such a title for her extraordinary unique voice. Diana's best performances - Derniere Danse, Wicked Game, Can't Help Falling in Love, California Dreamin', Sweet Dreams, Human Each of these speeches garnered over a thousand reactions. Diana is in the TOP 3 world vocalists in terms of the number of reactions (about 17 thousand reactions). TOP 1 - Dimash.
