Thank you! I was wondering why the hyper-extension in my shoulders feel weird... I probably let my arms drift upwards instead of down. Will practice the downward extension and better catch tomorrow.

Can you make a video about the forces applied in the catch? Elsewhere it is said that the full setup of the catch there is minimal power. Only when the hand is vertical the force (power phase) begins, push of the water. In sure the situations are different for open water swimming.
