I lost my dad on February ,14 2009 … I’d give a lot to have him see his grandkids he never got too meet. Or be there for my wedding. Certainly not a sob story everybody. Matt such a humble and talented guy. You can tell he has genuine affection and admiration for Hammond and vice versa. I love the banter and chemistry between them both. Some new format on KZfaq doing a rebuild together from sourcing to finishing the car would be a delight to watch. Also, how Hammond humor never gets old, and he definitely still got that charisma from TG and British whit which made him who he is today! The neat thing about this car is, Mat knows every part of it, had it restored his way and with his father's hands-on help. Along with that, some friends and other's good advice was achieved. Much to learn and enjoy behind this project. It's definitely not a Kit car! (Cool Video, Hats Off)

Hammond what a legend he is

My old Rover 220GTi use to do that rev hunting and was worse when cold. It was a caused by a combination of the throttle body and the ECU, got a new set from a breakers that solved the issue. I forget if you fitted new throttle bodies or used ones as it was a while back. If they were used did you give them a service before fitting? ensure there is no air leak on the intake flaps, one of my old MG ZS's flap would do random things on the throttle due to the flap. After a good clean and lubrication it was sorted.
