Oh, wow. I found one in decent shape at an antique store last year. It brought back memories for me, because back in 1967 my parents bought that exact truck and trailer for me. Impressive restoration!!!

grandiose restoration, many compliments Paul ... this model is reminiscent of the railway wagons of the bankrupt Lima. when I was a child, in Italy it was rare to see Corgi models, you could find them in specialized toy stores, such as those of lead soldiers, and they were expensive. Instead, there were hotwheels, bburago, majorette, polistil / politoys, matchbox, but the latter were less attention to detail, the tobacconists sold them. Over the years I have been able to buy back the hot wheels, bburago, mondo motors, the most available in Italy, I jealously keep them in their blister packs, recently also Chinese models with breech-loading, with opening doors and hoods. seeing them reborn these Corgi after your intervention is an indescribable joy. Keep it up, you are unique
