Crook been going since the original Death Row days and has provided us with a ridiculous amount of great music, never changed to fit in with latest trends.. forever underrated. I remember Joells first project dropping in '07 and have been a fan since, been signed to both Em and Dre and both have been part of what I believe was the best supergroup in the past 15 years. They've both matured respectively and are now passing on wisdom to the next generation. That's why they're legends.. Imo. But of course people can feel free to disagree 🙏🏼

I’m from the same hood as Joell, and I can honestly say he caught A LOT of flak whether he heard it himself or not for shifting his movements and moving the way he should for someone who’s broken through that new plateau. Everyone feels an entitlement to access to you and your success, he’s living well and away from the environment he grew in, you couldn’t ask for anything more, he made it out, I’m glad he ain’t out there constantly or got niggas around him who ain’t really for him cuz not everyone who achieves fame is blessed enough to have that type of transition. Shout outs to Quick puttin on for Cooper Projects one of the dopest rappers to put the pen to the pad!! And if y’all ain’t know he was wicked on the ball court & baseball field 💪🏾

Part of the problem is that it is not just PTSD because the trauma is ongoing. The trauma of poverty, racism, marginalization and the violence that occurs due to lack of resources is complex and transgenerational. Unlike a soldier that goes to war and comes home, in particular kids have no means to escape. The war is their home.

Solid points the problem with the youth is that they don't think 20 years ahead they're thinking they want to be number one and they'll settle for the fame for 2 years as number one they don't care about the 20 years because they probably don't think they're going to be here that long anyway so that's their mindset but as a community we have to come together and work it out so that way these kids can see the longevity
