Imagine being a shop keeper, watching this happen. Just watching this absolute creature of a person pull a box out of their pocket. Then another, and another, and holy shit how many boxes do they have? Okay, they had a lot of boxes, now their neatly stacked, that’s fine. Wait, what are they… oh my god they jumped on the box stack, that’s not safe! THEY HAVE MORE BOXES?!?! And they’re making another stack…. And watching this for probably an in world hour or so, you see them jump up one last time, pull out a bow, and teleport. How the hell do you explain that when the guards come asking questions? “Yeah, I saw the dude who broke in to the castle. He used that stack of boxes over there and teleported in. No, I have not been drinking, I’m being serious!”

Stuff like this is why I love Larian studios. You can break the game in weird intentional ways. Everything in this clip is working as intended and you can still do some absurd stuff. Edit: Thinking of deleting this comment so the replies are lost. Some people didn't get I meant that the devs never expected to you elbow drop a golem from the moon, but you created a staircase to the moon and elbow dropped the golem so it's fair vs breaking the coding of the game to exploit stats or gig jump. One is getting 100 stat point with a cap of ten, the other is, I can climb onto a box, if I stack two boxes one will be high enough I can climb onto that one, repeate till optimal elbkw dropping height is met.

ACTUALLY, there's an even better way to use those crates... was looking round to see if anyone noticed, but a chest at the top of a ladder keeps enemies from using it... can cheese any melee type boss by barricading it, and if you plan to betray an enemy, put down some explosive barrels! My camp stash is so full of containers its not funny, but yes, it works very well.

I love the game for exactly this. Finding your solution. if I see someone else make something, I have not even considered possible, it opens up so many things I want to try and see if it can work. Remember that games with bugged broken quests from some titles, that you tried to figure if you can work around it to finish it. Feels like that, to search for possible solutions.

They ended up putting a limit to how high you can stack boxes which was more of a response to owlbear pounce exploits than anything else. There's hundreds of other ways you can break into the castle without having to stack boxes. Hell, just climb to a nearby roof and fly your way to the other side of the bridge. This was just fun banter between Mercer and the Devs.

@RichHeart89
@RichHeart89 Жыл бұрын
@@jeepersmcgee3466the max party size is 4 and you can either control them as a group or separate them. If you want to play with someone else they can either join you at the start of the game and make their own character or you can just start solo and later let a friend control some of the other characters. So it is quite flexible. But the game itself is essentially exactly the same regardless of how many people are playing
@nyx3745
@nyx3745 Жыл бұрын
@@jeepersmcgee3466 it's pretty immersive. Lots of decision making that can be very rewarding if done right or you can just play it your way if you wanna roleplay a certain type. But the game gives you freedom to do anything, almost feels alive. And the story and cinematics feels like you are playing a fantasy movie. The D&D ruleset applies to everything....literally. For context, if you think you can approach a fight or make a dialogue decision in one way, there will be at least 10 other ways you could have done it, many of which you won't even realize existed. I did not know how the D&D 5e ruleset worked so I had to watch 4 hrs worth of videos to understand it all 😂. But it was worth. I would say tho the only reason I like it so much cause it reminds me of Dragon age but turn based.
