Sam really dropped the ball, or maybe he was soft balling it so he could catch Matt off guard later. Matthew Mercer on the other hand, was easily softballing the whole group. Viktor(y) woulda been his if he wanted.

Matt was horrifyingly accurate with his ability to assess what type of humor would make the person in the chair laugh. Sam = fun voice/basically a pervy side character from Vox Machina. Olivia = completely bizarre without reason. Courtney = Marvel reference. Damien = Video game reference with allusions to anime. Shayne = Character-based with a movie reference.
