Merci!

@BrookClaytonRenwick All the guitar was restored to his original state by an expert. Now it is how it was built in 1800. Thanks for the comment. Val

Damn, I love this, I'm the 5th grade in elementary music school (I'm 15 btw) and I must say this is my favourite composition and Etude I have ever played , and you did a great job playing it .. I hope that I'll manage to play this fast eventually .

Look at my channel for the link to the restaurer of this guitar... Expensive ? no, according to the instrument quality... (not a chinese factory guitar.. of course)but less than some modern luthier guitars. Playing an historical guitar is an emotion that have no price... Thanks for listening. Best regards, Val

I started this piece today, just a few hours ago. And you played it very well. Do you know Höfner-guitars? Are they any good? Because I'm thinking of buying one, not one of the expensive ones, though. Cheers Johannes

@shnivler Thanks a lot ;-) About the guitar, look the info box, there is a link to the expert restorer were I bought it. Price is very different according to the maker, and many other points, expensive, yes, as historical instrument, but not more than a modern concert guitar by a luthier. Good luck ! Val

Thank god, I need to learn this piece for my next exam and have just watched the hillbilly breakneck version, The pace, tone and dynamics here are beautiful. I'm really looking forward to taking this on now. On a side note, what a beautiful guitar.

Thanks a lot, this one could be played a little bit faster... I'll try again later, but tremolo is difficult without nails. Val

Wow, how do modern made guitars stand up to that one acousticly? What does this Sor have that you can't get? I imagine the old growth wood, + age makes it acousticly superior, but by how much? You obviously know a local guitar shop owner?

Well I find it a litle bit slow, and will try to play it faster, but no rush of course... (without nails it is difficult to play tremolo...) V.

No for me it is n°7, opus 60, 25 study from the Carcassi's method book. (perhaps plyed a little bit too slow... ) Thanks, Val

Hello Claudio ! The guitar is an early romantic one, the expert said it was built in 1800, more or less 5 years, according to the shape, size, head end some construction details. See his web site (link in the info box on the right) Inside of the guitar there is an iron mark saying Rémy in Limoges (but is it the maker or the dealer)... Anyway nice sounding one ;-) Thanks, Val
@luthval16 жыл бұрын
well, it is not a replica, it is an original one from 1800. V. ;-)
