If you think you’ve heard everything, Matthew McConaughey has to say… think again! Matthew himself has labeled this THE BEST interview he’s done yet!
“Finding your identity is more about a process of elimination so that you end up with more room for the things that feed you…”
If you only know him from his work as an actor, you are about to be blown away by the DEPTH and the THOUGHTFULNESS of this week's guest, MATTHEW McCONAUGHEY.
This is a fascinating MASTERCLASS IN MINDSET with one of the best-known, most loved, and often quoted actors in the world. This interview with Matthew is simultaneously FUNNY, EASYGOING and also INTENSE and DEEPLY PHILOSOPHICAL. He is a student and a teacher of the human condition, and after our hour together, you’ll have a new appreciation for him as a person way beyond what you’ve seen on the big screen.
Matthew’s journey has been remarkable, with EXCLAMATION POINT STORIES you won’t hear anywhere else. He has spent a lot of time thinking about how his life has unfolded and is genuinely excited to SHARE HIS SECRETS to success and happier life with all of you including:
👉🏽 How the science of SATISFACTION leads to the art of LIVING
👉🏽 The story of how he got his start in Hollywood with less than a thousand dollars in his pocket
👉🏽 The distinction between JOY and HAPPINESS.
👉🏽 How to get BETTER RESULTS out of everything you do
👉🏽 The difference between being a NICE GUY and a GOOD MAN.
You’re going to walk away from this week’s show with a ton of practical advice from one of the all time greats!
And I promise you, although Matthew McConaughey is known for many great characters in his acting career, when he speaks the TRUTH as he does here, this may be his most insightful role yet.
And if you haven’t already heard, Matthew McConaughey is putting on a LIVE virtual event, THE ART OF LIVIN' on April 24th! Join him and other special guests LIVE for this intimate one time event to create a future you can look forward to.

Two of my favorite people in one place! I read Matthew's book last year and it is the best autobiography I've ever read...and I've read a lot. He is real, he is true to himself, and he has a charisma that is unmatched. The two of you together are double the inspiration! I've already forwarded the weekly email I get about the podcast to all three of my children and my significant other to watch. This is a "can't miss" episode! Thanks, Ed!

Great video. Watched the live event and loved it although I couldn’t afford the package offered. BUT, this video has just underlined everything that I, as a middle aged man, have now come to realise is important. It’s not the ‘if/when/then’ mentality, but all about the letting go, enjoying the time, appreciating everything that you have. I’m sure I’m going to have bad days, it’s just remembering that these too shall pass. I realised the other day that my first 55 years seemed to have passed really slowly, which has made me appreciate life even more. I would’ve hated to have thought that I had done practically nothing with my life really quickly and with that in mind, I plan to live the next 100 years with even more intention, purpose and JOY! Thanks guys.

Identity is tricky. It's deeper than who we think we are. Who we believe we are is deeper within and many times we didn't choose it we simply accepted it from the outside. I've found who God says I am is the ideal place to start.

I really appreciate this entire video! Along the lines of being a “good guy/girl”…. I love the quote, “If you stand for nothing, you’ll fall for everything.” Also, a teacher once said, we don’t come here to learn what love IS, we come to learn first what it is Not. Ego is necessary yet like all things, needs to be healthy. The journey to discover what that means is often full of varied experience. 💜 Lastly, taking good care of one’s self mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually….. we can then be of more help on a larger scale. Some call self care, vanity and some call wisdom, selfishness. Life is a journey…. to say the least.

hey what I truly love about this conversation is seeing andhearing how even men can go deep and be aware of the power of being just a human who is truthful to himself and is able to share his perspective, describe it and see the meaning behind the words which are soo powerful. And ssimply being AWARE AND CONCIOUS in communication.AMEN. wish there is more talk like this among the Czech men.Thank you guys..with love Gabriela from the Czech republic

This interview was exceptional! So many takeaways from Matthew, like be a good person, not a nice person. And so much good stuff that I need to listen again when I can take notes. I already went and bought his book, because I want to learn more from Matthew. Thank you Ed for this amazing content! 🙏🏻

I remember my husband took me to the Daytona international speedway because he was just thrilled and amazed with it. He thought it would be cool and make me happy. I looked at the track and said, it’s just a road. I never forgot that. Joy comes from within and from God where happiness is measured individually and is fleeting.
