Exciting new features! I'm using the MPC Live 2 as a sound source instead of a synth and was hoping to load different programs much faster! Right now I'm using different sequences for different songs of my bands. If anyone knows a better way, let me know.

I’m brand new to all of this. I just purchased the MPC ONE from Sweetwater. Can you put out a video on sequencing and all aspects of that to include all that the new 2.11 has to offer for sequencing? It will be well received.

Ok, I updated , but in my instruments everything works fine except the Fabric XL , Fabric , Fabric piano and fabric electric piano. When I press those nothing happens , what am I doing wrong ? Stage piano is good, tubesynth stage ep, all good , but the fabric ones wont let me select, I activated them in preferences

Hi Mathew, is it possible to load different synth sounds and store them for easy access? Mainly for the purpose of changing to different synth sounds during a live performance.

Thank you for this video; very useful! Do you know if it is possible to give a setlist a name? I have songs on multiple setlists. This makes it hard to distinct between setlists. It would be useful when I could give a setlist a name, so I know what I am looking at when navigating through the setlist pagination.

Never had to upgrade in stages before, but there is synth content that came with 2.10 that you want to download and install to make sure you can play all the current synths.

Hey Matt I'm having some trouble getting started with my MPK 3. Anytime I try to use an ASIO driver (asio4all or native) once I get sound in a DAW like Ableton or Reaper, sound will not work anywhere else on my computer until I restart the system. I've tried the "apps exclusive" stuff under sound options both on and off and can't seem to fix this problem. Any Ideas how to set up the mini 3 with a DAW and get ASIO drivers working correctly?

Hi Matthew! Is there any alternative way to sync splice with mpc live II? I have a problem because i downloaded samples via wifi in my mpc and there was this „error accesing splice”. Can i sync it using USB and 1st download my library on my pc?

Hey Matthew, in MPC ONE in the splice folder my sounds don't show by category anymore, only by pack and all sounds yet nothing is inside of all sounds folder, by any chance would you know what's wrong because in music reps don't know, and this happened after i updated to 2.11.3

I hoped it would be possible to load multiple projects or somehow merge them. Would be great if you could load a project while another one is playing. The audio stops when loading a new project. I will buy a gong that I can hit for transitions while loading the next bit. 😅

Yeah, if you want a continuous set your going to so another piece of gear to supplement. A gong isn’t a bad idea. 🤣

Totally agree with you on this. The older mpc's did it. I dont know why akai doesnt add that feature in these new updates. I know in 2.7 when loading up a project you can hit shift and it will give you an option to load multiple sequences. I would also copy old mpc1000 files to load all sequences and it would load up fine as well. Now it would save as a different format (I forget what it is on the 1000) but it would not save as a .XPJ. if that makes sense.

I have a denon PrimeGo loaded with stripped down versions of my tracks. I use them as transition tracks. They both can be easily synced with ableton link over ethernet

After I updated my mpc is telling me there are new plug ins I need to download and install , how do I do this ? I forgot

I was having the same issue for a moment, so I referred back to his previous video from the 2.10 update on how to update the firmware. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/e9JpkregnLTXl40.html There is also a time stamp on how to do this in the video too, if you want to skip over the step, by step process. I pretty much ejected my SD Card from my MPC One (while off) and plugged it into my 🖥. Next, I dragged the synth folder from my computer into the SD card. When done, I safely ejected the SD card from my computer, and inserted it back into the MPC One. From there on, you should be good to go! Hope this helps.

@@myst4hire1 Damn. So what I ended up doing was heading to Guitar Center , bought the new Key61 , and have everything. It also gave me the code so I have have and download them on my mpc x. 🔥

What i really miss is the global Tuning beginning from 440 hz up or down. I need 442hz and i always had to pitch all instruments 3 cents up......that is really annoying .

Check it out....usually 3 Cents are 1hz in Keyboards. In Yamaha ist 11 to15 Hz up to reach 443hz for classic orchestra. It is not a DIN norm....i use my ears. But it serms that the new Tuner in 2.11 has this Option but it would be better to see it in the preferences.

Is the MPC 2.11 avsilable to load onto akai mini mpk 3 midi keyboard yet?

The MPK mini mk3 is a midi controller and as such will not be able to load full MPC software in it. The update is available June 23.

Thanks for the question. No, it doesn't move the project file. There is a shortcut created to the current file location.

Judging from the Akai video thumbnail it will be available for Studio mk2 (it is on the thumbnail). I don’t have access to it yet though.

@@nap41123 i can confirm that it wont work. I emailed akai and they replied with this "Hello, Thank you for reaching out! I am sorry but at this time further information regarding compatibility for legacy MPC Hardware is not yet available. For more information on the new features, please visit the links below." So at the end of the day youre just braindead.
