for the tri wing screws I used a flat head that fit well enough. Just in case other people feel stuck

Is it possibile to completely replace the shell? I have a broken console but would like to keep the shell because it's well kept and with very few scratches.

So I followed your video and the ifixit guide and now my wiiU won’t power up. Any suggestions? Honestly, from my research, think I bricked it but I wouldn’t know how that happened

@@MattPassarelli nope the game pad powers up to the quick menu but the console does nothing. I’ve taken it back apart and put it back together three times now looking for a connector I may have missed

Everything I’ve cleaned with is Rubbing/Isopropyl Alcohol!

What tool kit is that? Trying to find one with the proper tri wing but all I see are for the switch which are about half the size.

I use an iFixIt Mako kit for everything. There should be a link in the descriptions of my videos

One of the rubber feet on the bottom. They're just clamped in between the plastic halves

If you remove the cmos battery do you lose data? Is it safe to remove?

The CMOS? No, you shouldn’t. The Wii U (for lack of batter terms) pretty standard solid state memory; I think eMMC. You’ll probably lost date and time settings, but no actual memory or save data.
