I feel like his body is just so adapted to yanking the bar, doing it with correct technique and form would lead to instant injury lol

@danielmolina7852 2 жыл бұрын
Yup, there was also a dude who used to post deadlift of him yanking the bar like that at 600 plus pounds and never got injured. Yet when he followed the advice of the comment section to use proper form, he finally didn't use load management and had an injury.

@@HalfJapMarine what does load management mean?
@HalfJapMarine
@HalfJapMarine 2 жыл бұрын
@@tsavage4337 Having a structured program you follow that has progression models built in that add weight/sets/reps in a calculated manner. Allows your body to recover appropriately and gets you stronger/bigger with a much reduced risk of injury. In this context, the lifter changed his form completely while still lifting the same weights/volume he had been. His body had not properly adapted to that new style and he got injured. He should have deloaded the weight considerably and built himself back up.

Pete, any tips on how to get the most out of grip as well as not rip your hands? Whenever I get to about 630 and above my callouses seem to tear no matter what and sometimes if I have smooth callouses my hands burn like hell just below the surface. Im trying to hit a 700 deadlift within the next 6 months or so and I would prefer to get it without straps
