I was so intrigued with what you did I asked myself why didn't you just triple filter the heated waste oil (down to 1 micron for example) and direct it into the pressure pump? That would not only save a lot of time and may even be as efficient?

I attempted this on my very first build; I already owned a centrifuge system for producing fuel from waste oil, and I tried running some of the filtered oil in the furnace. The burn was inconsistent and the nozzle was prone to carbon buildup. It required constant attention and tinkering, and was very picky about what kind of waste I ran through it. The siphon setup will run on practically anything, and only needs a basic filter to take out the big chunks. Much easier to manage.

Just wondering how u have the control box wired to come on when the temp is right ...I have just made a heat nozzle holder with a heat cartridge in it should work fine how to wire and watt to use is not my strong point thks ...keep up the good work videos are just the ticket

Wow, 4000 gallons is like a tanker truck full. You are getting your use out of that furnace. How is it working today? I want to do the same thing. God knows how many gallons you have burnt to today.

Yep, it’s hard at work today! Will probably run through a few gallons today...doing an epoxy pour tonight so shop has to stay at 75 degrees.

You could but if your house burns down your insurance company won't cover it

Sewerzuk What lift pump r u using? The forum link for HF Doesnt work anymore. I have 2 options right now buy 2 williamsons temp-o-matics for $400 and convert them or buy an actua 300kbtul waste oil furnace with all pumps and tank for $1600. Need to weigh out the costs

What pump do you use to pump oil into the tank on side of the furnace.

I use a carbonator pump. They are made to pump heavy syrup in soda fountains, and can be found for around $100 on ebay.

I'm want to use a RKC REX-C100FK02-M*AN controller. It appears to similar if not exact to your controller. Do you know if there is any significant differences that might affect me?

I'm not sure; I've used a handful of these things and they're all a bit different. There are about a dozen manuals floating around, and I've always found one that seems to work for the controller I'm working on...

The ckep1 guy isnt on ebay anymore. Does this kit look similar or is this the same guy. www.ckburners.com/kits.html I just got a cub 700 Its a 720,000 btu diesel furnace. It currently has a 4gph nozzle in it. On a Riello F15 burner. I think i can turn it down to a 2.5 or 3gph nozzle if its too much heat. My barn is a 40x80 wood pole non insulated steel wall and steel roof. I got this thing furnace for $500 on FB market place. Just needed a $40 control box/igniter. Heat exhanger is stainless steel and looks good. Only 1,000 hours.

+sewerzuk I went on the link you posted looking for the part number or link to what your using for a float switch, currently I'm using a float valve that is supplied by CK burners but that doesn't control my pump like I want to

I have purchased most of my floats off of ebay; no part numbers. but the ones I like the best are made of stainless steel and sold as aquarium float switches.
