I remember watching this fight live... I was really impressed that two friends were able to put on such a good fight and still love and respect eachother afterwards.

Now this is what i call real professionalism! Despite these 2 great fighters being good friends they didn't let that get in the way of giving everybody a great show! All the credit in the world goes to them for being able to put their friendship aside and pound on each other like this and give everybody a fight that's better than any fight you'd see in boxing today!!

Two quality welterweights. Blocker Gave a prime Honeyghan all he could handle and to out point Moochie Marlon the Magic Man Starling was a good upset🥊. Simon Brown was a very very good welterweight champion as I think he was avoided by Breland and Starling even though Starling gave him his first loss in 85 the late 80’s Brown starling didn’t want him.🥊

two of my classmates Roosevelt Northwest High School😎we was the only three Fighters in the three year that had the handsLatin connection boxing gym Peppy Finney's boxing gym Henry Thomas three in the hallway 🏆🏆🏆👊💥💪💥😎😏😐

Great fight. By the 2 best WELTERWEIGHTS of that time. Had it 6-3 Blocker after 9.

I really missed those days growing up in dc uptown Latin connection boxing gym with Simon ,Maurice ,Pepe, And the late George Hart and other great people from that Gym and when ever I drive through Georgia Ave and Columbia road I always think of Simon and his family they are great people .DC for life

No,this was April 91. Douglas vs Holyfield was October 90.
