For a long time there has been a comparism between Seychelles and Mauritius over which country is best especially for tourists and people who intend to relocate and start a new life in those countries. Although both countries have somewhat similar features, each offers its own benefits. Many factors go into deciding which country is a better option such as the primary aim of the trip and what you intend doing in both Countries. So in this video we shall be putting both countries against each other to see which comes on top.

Geography
Officially the Republic of Mauritius, Mauritius is an island nation in the Indian Ocean about 2,000 kilometres off the southeast coast of the African continent. The country includes the islands of Mauritius, Rodrigues, Agaléga and St. Brandon. The islands of Mauritius and Rodrigues form part of the Mascarene Islands, along with nearby Réunion, a French overseas department. The capital and largest city Port Louis is located on the main island of Mauritius. The area of the country is 2,040 square kilometres, the nation's Exclusive Economic Zone covers an area of 2.3 million square kilometres. The country's landscape consists of a small coastal plain rising to discontinuous mountains encircling a central plateau. Mauritius is almost completely surrounded by reefs that may pose maritime hazards. The main island is of volcanic origin. With regards to the climate of Mauritius, the country has a tropical climate, modified by southeast trade winds; there is a warm, dry winter from May to November and a hot, wet, and humid summer from November to May. Anti-cyclones affect the country during May to September.
Just like Mauritius, The Seychelles is a small island nation located in the Somali sea northeast of Madagascar and about (1,344 km) from Mogadishu, Somalia, The nation is an archipelago of 115 tropical islands, some granite and some coral. the majority of which are small and uninhabited. The landmass is only 452 km2 , but the islands are spread wide over an Exclusive Economic Zone of 1,336,559 km2. Though the country comprises of about 115 volcanic inlands just three islands are inhabited, the island of Mahè, Praslin and La Digue. Around a third of the land area is the island of Mahé and a further third the atoll of Aldabra. The capital and largest city in Seychelles is Victoria. Despite the fact that Mauritius is almost three times larger than Seychelle, both countries have almost the same climate and other geographical features, so expect almost same things when when it comes to the geography of both countries.
When it comes to beaches, Seychelles and Mauritius have some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The beaches in both countries are clean with white sand with crystal clear waters. Some of the most beautiful beaches in Mauritius include; Grand baie, Le monte Flic en flac, Trou Aux bishes. Seychelles on the other hand have beaches such as Anse Lazio beach, Anse Royale beach, Beau Vallon, Anse Source D’argent just to mention a few. These beaches promises almost the same experiences of a life time.
Demography
Mauritius and Seychelles are some of the least populated countries in Africa. Mauritius has a population of about 1.265.984 people, The country’s population is dominated by females with about 643.690 females while the rest of the population comprises of males. The majority of the population of Mauritius comprises of people between the ages 25 to 54 years old. Seychelles on the other hand has the smallest population in Africa with a estimated population of about 95.000 peopple. Amongst the 95.000 people in Seychelles, 45,218 are males while 49.782 are females. Just like Mauritius, the majority of the population of Seychelles comprises of people between the ages 25. To 54 years old. Birth rate and Death rate is relatively low in both countries compared to most African countries. So going to both countries you should expect almost the same demography.
