I think I would have updated the home position at the flag pole in case it lost signal and tried to go back to where you started. It would never have made it back there.

Another inventive video, making use of the long battery life of the Mini, getting a good view of FLA and keeping VLOS at the same time. Similar concept to your earlier boat vid a few months back. NICE!

Wow bro I'm impressed.. you're sitting in a Jeep surrounded by metal and still maintained good connection on that Lil drone is unbelievable..I see why DJI is number one in the drone market..

@@tesohn Still quite impressive the metal frame didn't provide any issues though! But the US have a stronger controller and antennas too compared to other markets too which would help

I've been craving one of your videos and you didn't disappoint. I miss Florida and it's so nice to see the water from up high. Great idea chasing the Jeep. I'm going to have to try that. Actually this is the west coast of Florida where there are many mangroves growing which discolor the water. The east coast and keys don't have as many are the water is really clear and beautiful. After all this China virus is over you should go visit there. its great! Lots of fun to camp out at the many parks there. Enjoy!

Another great video with some spectacular views of beautiful Florida. I'm not sure why, but I wasn't entirely sure that flying from the back of the Jeep was a good idea. I guess I thought there would be connection issues. Seems to have worked perfectly though, so, I'm very impressed.

Why do you say that GoProJoe? The drone that was used is the Mini, ($400). If you have a drone ...go for it! Or do you own a Karma? If its a Karma drone I understand.

i use my mavic mini on my channel as much as i can but it's always too windy here in Cape Breton Nova Scotia so sometimes i use my parrot beebop 2,i also have the wingsland s6 and an icat 1 on the way...also getting the fimi x8 soon

I do hope some sort of active track gets put on this drone. It would be great to have that feature. I have one of these after owning the DJI Phantom 4, Spark, and Mavic 2. Still a really amazing little drone and great battery life as well :).

You can adjust the home point any time. To answer your question, yes it would head back to his home point, wherever his mark is on the map. It wouldn’t rth to his RC controller. If that’s what you’re asking

Very surprised it did not complain about the steel vehicle before takeoff. Generally you want to avoid taking off from ferrous or magnetic surfaces, as it confuses the mems compass on the drone.
