Not going to lie, when i arrived and saw so many Maxpower feature cars i was blown away but i did tear up when i saw the green Ecosse 306 Saloon, i was not excepting to see her looking pretty as she does. That car was a massive part of my childhood and lead to a 306 saloon being my very first car.

Was a epic day, me and my daughter feature behind the legend that is Proby at 5.10. Kellie's Pug and Project 2000 reveals were my highlights of what was a fantastic day for me. Roll on the Reunion show 2024, i am defo going to carry out a few mods to my car for the next one.

When I was 18, (I'm almost 42 now) I had a Renault Clio sport 1.2 with a Max Power sticker in the back window. Since then I've had all sorts of cars. Most Max Power of which was a Twin Turbo 350Z with fully built engine. Covid hit my wallet hard. And guess what I'm driving now. A Clio with a MP sticker in the back lol. Man, the late 90's and early to mid 00's was a great time. No social media. We need MP back. To take the car scene away from Audi's, BMW's and Golf R's on hired purchase and back to works of art and passion. I hear "Club Reps" and "Big Brother" is coming back, too, lol.

Looking back when i worked at ripspeed and attended cruises and meets all over the NW everyone got along and genuinely had a laugh. Im 36 now, attended a few meets with some mates and their sons who are into the scene now. Never felt so awkward and pissed going to what was ment to be a friendly day out and all enjoy cars.. People being nasty, jealousy rife, even caught a group of lads keying cars whilst filming and laughing about doing it... Fortunately they didnt leave with the 2 legs god provided them and their wallets, phones and keys are probably still in the nearby forest where they accidentally dropped them... These events look like the old one, have to bring the old saff for a day out.
