Hey everyone, I just wanted to say a massive thank you to you all for the incredible comments and support on this video! It has been absolutely amazing to hear how much you all recognize my efforts and show it in your comment interaction. I have tried to reply to most of your comments but there are just so many! This comment it to let you all know that if I don't reply, please don't take it personally, I have just been so mad busy with creating my next set of videos. I can assure you that I have read them all and feel blessed to have such great support from you all😎 On a side note, many of you have suggested I make another drain test but set all phones to 60hz.. Honestly, if you are buying a phone with a high refresh rate you are probably going to want to make use of it and that is why I set them all to their Max Refresh rates. However, I can understand that most phones this year are coming with high refresh rate panels and some of you are purchasing the phones for other reasons and would likely set the refresh rate to 60hz for Max battery use. On that note, I have decided to make another one of these with the same phones but all set to FHD+ and 60Hz, all I ask of you is to be patient. I struggle to get a full 2 days into my schedule to create such a time consuming test but it will come. Just stay patient and once again, thanks for all the incredible support ✌️

I have another suggestion for that video, how about you connect the phones to mobile data. I have recently noticed the s10 ultra struggles with battery life and heat management when I connect it to mobile data.. and use the exynos s10 ultra

ali Salem According to a recent test by Anandtech, there was little difference between FHD and QHD as regards power draw, but a big difference between 60 and 120 Hz refresh rates. So if you’re going to use the 120 Hz refresh rate, you might as well enjoy QHD resolution.

Very,very,very good! Excellent job! One of the best (if not the best) battery drain videos I've ever seen! I was boring from Charging videos. Everyone puts charging videos, because it's a lot easier. Not really it is the lowest refresh rate phone, all we learned is that high refresh rates take a huge toll on your battery.

you should do the test two times one where all are set at max Hz second all are set to 60Hz, that would give you the exact accurate mah/min rating Cause now your mah/min is still not accurate as some have 90hz some have 120hz

@@TechNick so you are giving 100% guarantee that those who'll buy these phones won't even touch the 60hz toggle, right?😑 There are some instances where I'll switch to 60hz For ex if I know that today i am going to use my phone camera for 95% of the time, I won't leave it on 120hz and unnecessarily drain the battery second example, if i want to edit RAW photos or 4k videos on the phone,(which eats alot of the battery) I would rather choose 60hz and have more battery life rather than having smoothness at that moment Also it's not just between 60hz or 120hz Even when u are comparing between 90hz and 120hz 120hz is still consuming more battery than 90hz phones M sure at 60hz, the OnePlus 8 pro will beat the mi 10 pro, X50 pro and the oppo ace It beat the s20 ultra which has 500mah more capacity All I can do is just request you, rest is upon you

Put oneplus or samsung or Realme on 60hz and they will easily equal your SoT while pushing a lot more performance! Im preety sure if you put ur phone on pubg these will over do your phone in both SoT and FPS! And if you just do general stuff I would say get a pixel A series or a good budget phone with gr8 cameras!

@@Sushant2688 bro higher refresh rate screen gives better gaming performance and 144hz refresh can run a game at 144 FPS! And also it makes the phone more stable (very very smooth) Well it drains battery but If we set it on 60hz then it will drain less. IQOO Neo 3 is the only phone that drain the battery very less at 144hz LCD screen. AMOLED screens give better battery optimization but IQOO Neo 3 has LCD display but still give better battery.

@@sjoec3329 nah, basically I look at high refresh rate screens, big batteries, fast charge, excellent camera, and I don't actually mind abt the processor since both a13 and sd865 will be able to play most of those demanding games at full 120fps (refer to pubg mobile on one plus 8 pro), so yeah, I liked those new features more

Hey Nick! Great video.. Ur one of the best upcoming channels. Just a request if you can do the same test but all at 60Hz so we would know who wins in an absolutely fair playing ground. Do this to satisfy your other subscribers who voted for the test to be done at 60 Hz. Pleaseeeeee

Remarkable battery drain test, probably the most thorough and technologically "on point" of all battery drain tests from this first half-year. There are two notable absences, though, an Exynos-powered S20 Ultra or S20+ (we all know how that would have gone :)) ) and a P40 Pro. But fantastic work, nevertheless.
