She was clearly depressed and self medicating with shopping. I am not going to judge them as I’ve been stupid with money in the past. I just hope they were able to get out of debt. Their 3 kids depend on them.

I don't understand how she's been unemployed for two years. I was fired on a friday and got TWO jobs by that monday. Not jobs that I wanted or were relevant to my job experience but something is better then nothing at all!

Budgeting can become just as addictive as spending. Switch addictions and you will actually find it enjoyable to see money grow.

I'm so addicted to this show. I have a five year plan to get out of consumer debt and it looks like I can shave off 2 years

This show is helping me figure things out. I'm over spending each month by $2,115.92. I may not have credit debt, but housing is killing me. Just need to make a plan and find ways to get more income. Won't be easy but still possible😇

Out of all the reality tv shows they've shown on tv in the last 20 years, this is the only one that benefits the people on the show and the people watching the show!!!

I'm happy they gifted them the opportunity to see the brother get married. It's hard to dictate whether that's a want or a necessity... the emotional impact of not being there aand feeling like an awful sister could lead to a depression.

Watching shows like this and listening to Dave Ramsey on a regular basis keeps me and my husband almost debt free minus our mortgage which we now put extra $300 a month on principal 😄

I am from Germany and cash is "KING" and the use of credit cards is frowned on.

Also give your kids chores and teach them to clean up after themselves so you don’t have to spend so much time on the house

I absolutely do not understand how shopping makes people feel good. It's just a chore, like doing the dishes or mowing the lawn. It's like saying, "when I feel bad, I just can't stop myself from doing the laundry and scrubbing the floor."
