He's incredibly unstable, pushing unevenly, elbows behind the bar in the bottom position, his grip is way too wide for his build. He'd benefit a lot from proberly stabilizing through bracing, tightening his lats, flexing quads and squeezing his glutes.

I was critical af of Tom's squat before the meet, he improved a fair bit. With all the resources he has, he can improve. I'm 90 seconds in, but I hope they're not just going to give each other compliments the whole time and I hope Juji gives him coaching cues.

True. I think you only get full lower trap activation, when you lift inline with your body. Not in front. So technically doing it this way you don't benefit from the exercise as much as you could.

Always my first rep - i think its to do with taking too big of a breath at the start or something + pressure under load. Never really worked out why.

I did BB OHP with Tom last year at the Arnold fest - impressively strong I remembered. The thiccc man still has it. I wanna press with the kabuki bar. Looks so compfy on the grip being neutral. I fear for that beam where the rings are held on :(

Just an observation, but Tom would greatly benifit from narrowing his grip. Looks stressful on the wrists and he's not fully locking out

Hey guys I'm a new subscriber, love your videos. I've been watching some older videos along with your new videos. I know you guys already met Dr. Beau Hightower and made a cool video. I would love to see you guys with Devon Larrat get his arms worked on and fixed up, and then Magnus Midtbo, Stefi Cohen get worked on as well. It's cool to see athletes from different realms of fitness trying things together and having fun. It's really positive to see, also overall versatility and being open minded enough to try new things for general fitness.

I’ve been focusing hard on overhead press and every time I go to get set for a heavy rep I would almost pass out. I ended up changing from starting tight, lifting off, going for the lift all in one go, instead I tighten, lift off, exhale almost completely, then big air and go. Definitely has helped me out.

Your buddy Brian has videos on KZfaq on how to OHP. I adopted his methods to my press along with Larry wheels’s “rebound method” and went from 135lbs OHP max to 150lbs max

Quick tip: When your doing overhead press for reps take a breath if you need to at the top of the press when you lock out

I OHP for triceps... Yeah, Tris. I set up just wider than shoulder, so much narrower than Tom or Juji. I do a bit of a thruster and fire the weight overhead, if I hear the plates smash into the bar at the top, then I did it right. After locking out, I don't do the head through crap as the weight is more in front due to close grip. Then a slow negative overloads the triceps. Give it a try.
