Video on point for exactly what I needed! THANKS A MILLION. Hell one of the 2 rear shocks was already blown out other worked fine by pushing down by hand but still got a tracker shock mounted worked perfect!

As of November 12th of 2021 I can confirm they fixed this problem with the rear shocks with the new edge body style they shortened them.

They do sell drop brackets for the rear but just making one would be fine too.

Have same problem on crv fronts had to move the whole spring up to drop it

BIg difference. When you bottom out your spring rate goes infinite and really screws with your traction and roll center and everything 👍👍👍

i have those on my 01 gt vert, i had to move the lower shock bracket down i just used some steel plate . seems to work ok . im having some trouble with the front ones , the mounting hole where it bolts to the lower control arm is slotted and it moves around screwing up the alignment!!!!

thats why i got raceland 1-3inch

Between the chevy tracker shock and the maxspeeding shocks, what was the height difference?

I just bought the same set in red for my 96 gt a week ago and out of the box the rears look exactly the same close to 19" fully extended. I will try to contact them as well.

As of august 2022, the kits still do this, mine feels terrible in the rear, im gonna see If I can adjust the section that can spin to give it some more breathing room but if not I'll use the tracker shocks

I recently bought a 95 gt the front has nice coilovers the rear nothing lol so im out to piss some ppl off with a slammed out pushrod lol

I bought this kit and I’m going yo replace the shocks but I’m using it for track racing not drifting would the tracker ones be better than the mustang ones from Monroe it’s about a 3 inch difference

Question- did you adjust the shock shorter on the maxpeedingrods or did you just install it out of the box? My understanding of these is that you raise or lower the car by adjusting the threads on the shock and not the spring. The spring is just the tension for the preload? Ive installed my fronts already but still havent gotten to the back and I was going to just order the same shocks you did, but before doing it I wanted to make sure you did have the shock body adjusted all the way down already? If not, maybe that was the problem you had with the blown shock? Thanks

I have these and they rub the front tires, did you adjust them to have close to no negative camber? Are you using a spacer?

Does the rear shock body not thread into the case further?

Bro couldnt you turn the collar up the threads more, and then thread the lower half of that rear shock further up the threads?? It looks like its adjusted all the way down, instead of all the way up??

Did you use the stock tracker shocks or did u get some of the performance ones?? Will they work if I got the gas adjustable

I got a set of them for my 97 mustang and the rear are shit and when I contacted them about the problem they refused to do anything about it and refused to refund my money. The shocks are about 2 inches longer then factory and the springs are about 3 inches shorter then factory. When I installed them the shocks bottom out even with them turned all the way in to try to make them shorter. The set-up just will not work at all. They are junk and I would never recommend them.
