May I just say that Angie Stone, is a beautiful singer, and her spirit is so wonderful. I'm so honored to be able to witness such magnificent grace and power. I only hope and pray that she will continue for many more years to come. I love you Angie Stone, you're a friend in my head.

This version along with Lauryn Hill's rendition are by far my favorite version of the treasured classic by Curtis Mayfield (besides his original version). And to actually see Angie and her background singers rep this classic while listenin to their divine, harmony-filled, sultry voices... NOW THIS IS MUSIC.

There are some that come and go through the music door. But artist of this calaba will never go back out the door for good. The Angie Stones of R&B can come and go whenever THEY want to, not HAVE to and the supporters will be there forever patiantly waiting for the next album and quite happy to rewind and rewind until that time. She is a remarkable artist that will follow Aretha, Gladys, Lauryn, Pattie, Betty, Anita B, and so many others. She not underated coz she got us R.I.P Sir Curtis

She actually gave an interview where she said the industry has not received her well because of her looks and people she have written for did not thank her or give her credit such Mariah Carey.I honesty think she is beautiful inside and out,the industry is run by soulless individuals who are looking for sellouts who would give anything for the price of fortune and fame.
