I too am plagued with vibration crashes on my cameras. I’ve tried everything. It gets worse with time and it’s not just the battery connection. I have my Insta360 One X back for a second RMA replacement. The Hero 7 Black also crashes when attached to my triple-clamp. I attach a live USB cable to them to keep them continuously powered, but they still crash, though not as soon and frequently as with battery only. My best camera has been the Sony FDR-X300, but I just lost it when its mount broke during a ride and it bounced down and off a hilly road. I’m looking for a new camera, both 360 and normal, that is more resilient to vibration. Your GoPro Max obviously fails. I doubt the Insta360 One R is any better. I don’t know about the DJI Osmo. I am looking for a recommendation. I wish Sony came out with an updated successor to the X3000, preferably in a form factor like the Sony RX0 II. Here is what motovloggers need: 1. Resilience against vibration and heat crashing. If it does crash, the existing video needs to be recoverable. 2. Small and light. Good battery life with active USB charging. 3. Both 3.5mm jack and Bluetooth audio. The big GoPro dongle is idiotic. 4. No touchscreen. This adds unnecessary size, weight, power consumption and expense. We are fine with a phone app that connects Bluetooth/Wifi. 5. Make both a 360 and front-facing version. 6. Foldable GoPro mount as on the Hero 8/9.

I would try, beside additional or improved Power-supply, to put some tiny rubber-part on the back of the memory-card, to make its "lock" little bit tighter, with increased pressure on the Contact-points, also that rubber would ''amortize'' good part of Vibrations, hopefully. It's kinda tippy-tappy precise "hit or miss" Operation, too small rubber, or too hard, will not help much, and too big or too soft neither...? One should be lucky, and very patient, to test many various rubbers and ''positions'' until finally found the right One.? Same could work on the battery, if it puts strong enough additional pressure on its contact-points, kind of strong rubbery-tape maybe..? Also consider some rubber/spring implant between the Stick and that hard-metal-frame where it's '"bolted/screwed" to Engine, or whatever..? Well, it's worth exttra bothering BC this is a big issue with all new "hi-tech-cameras'', we can not simply run from it to the other Brand, but rather face it and out-trick it somehow, I guess... Yeah sounds like a pain in the Ass....8(

It's dangerous crossing the double yellow line while going into corners.It's your life not mine.And your riding with a broken leg.I rode a bike years ago with a broken leg.I had a cast on my left leg and had the gear shift lever welded up.So I could ride with a cast on.I was a hooligan back in the day.The *80's,90's and so on.I could rip on the Freeway,Highway,and surface streets.My cat Tiger is hanging out with me today.He lies on the table that my computer is on.I pet him and he sleeps.Hooah!\m/\m/Riding on the Angeles Crest Highway is excellent .Good Mountain road!Do you ever go up and stop at Newcomb's Ranch.Get a drink and get something to eat.And if you keep riding up the road.You'll hit Wrightwood.And during the winter thats where people go to ski and ride with a snowboard!Look out for black ice as you go up to about 9-10 thousand feet.There will be Snow during the winter and both sides of the road will have snow on them.Get into a snow ball fight!lol
