He has a practice in Orange, California and also works at the Parkinson's and Movement Disorder Institute located at Orange Coast Medical Center in Fountain Valley, California. The topic of his presentation is "Oral Medications and Botulinum Toxins"
Mayan Pathak, M.D. was trained in neurology at the University of California, Irvine, after which he completed two fellowships. The first was in spinal cord medicine at the V.A. Medical Center in Long Beach, California and the second in neurological rehabilitation at UCLA. Dr. Pathak served as an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Charles Drew University and M.L. King Medical Center in Los Angeles. He has been involved in research projects involving ambulation in spinal cord injured patients and continues to conduct clinical investigations of medical therapy for spinal cord injury, Parkinson's Disease and spasmodic torticollis.
