I mean he may get some letters wrong, like capital Greek "γ" and capital Cyrillic "г". But most Greek letters are recognizably different in nature from Cyrillic. I mean, just look at Θ, Σ, Ψ, Ω, Λ, Ξ, Δ and ";" for a question mark.

@@cubeof10 the Google car itself gives some clues as to where you are - for instance if you're in Kenya the Google car always has a little snorkel at the front. Or in places like Nigeria, you are always followed pretty closely by an escort car etc etc - there's lots of meta clues people use.

He needs to learn sun and license plate meta Sun in north, southern hemisphere, and vice versa. Blue badge on license plate means EU, two badges on either side means Italy, red badges means Kyrgyzstan. Theres some other specifics like yellow license plates for UK, Israel (I think), and like the Netherlands or smth.
