As one that, when I was a teen in the early 80's, mistakenly thought a dish of softened butter was a dish of vanilla pudding, just no. No, n-no no no. I love butter, but NO!

On bread, toast, potato, any other veggie, on meat while it cooks, in meat while it cooks, candies, cakes, and pies. I did once try butter like that and was not impressed, it goes good in and on things that is about all.

1, her blood pressure is probably going to be quite interesting. 2, and if someone insists on nibbling on butter like it's a snack bar, they should be at least polite enough to either have a designated snack butter or use a spoon or other utensil.

@@CourtneyLunaAre you LCHF/Keto, if so you should be OK. Fat with a lot of carbs would be detrimental. I used to take a couple of swigs of coconut oil before bowling league for energy. 👍🤔🤓🍻

@@CourtneyLuna Probably even better. I haven't tried full fledged carnivore yet. I felt awesome on LCHF/Keto but had to do it intermittent style. I don't store body fat easily so every few months I had to consume more carbs to store a little fat to burn later. 😢🤔🤓🍻

I have to disagree on this one. I'm eating a pretty strict carnivore diet of beef, butter, bacon eggs. On the occasion that I get a little hungry, I grab a bar of Irish Butter I get from ALDI, and take a bite. The first time it was a little odd, but soon enough it was the norm. Now, it' s no different from going to the refrigerator and grabbing a chunk of cheese, or a spoonful of peanut butter.

I'm still dealing with the idea of actually eating butter. How does that work? Does it pair well with Crisco? Or bacon grease? Maybe a couple of raw sausage links? Do you wash it down with a glass of Wesson oil? Have you tried deep frying it yet? (You will) Please, I seriously want to know what the attraction is? Some toddlers will eat matches because their bodies need something in it. Is that it? Do you have low cholesterol? There must be a logical explanation...

When I was around 10 I was staying up to watch scary movies, I fell asleep, my brother put a slice of butter on my lips, it melted down into my mouth and it was nasty......I put real butter on/in stuff but never eat it by itself

My daughter eats butter straight like that or gobs it on top of bread. Odd though she won't eat whipped cream or anything with whipped cream

As a nutritional scientist, I can say, that after decades of observations of various control groups, we have observed no cases where mass fat consumption has lead to healthy outcomes. Nor can we declare that eating butter by itself has ever not lead to explosive diarrhea if not tempered with copious amounts of absorbent food materials such as bread, porous vegetables such as potatoes or beets, or oatmeal and or grain bran, germ or endosperm.

I do the same thing. Even got my grandkids doing it. But we only eat grass fed butter.
