Come along with us as we visit the town of Mt. Airy, NC, and take a look at Pilot Mt State Park. Mt. Airy is where Andy Griffith was born and was here the tv show Mayberry was based on. Oh wow! I love this little town Mt. Airy! I am little confuse- Is Mayberry campground located at Pilot State Park...or is it separate location? Also, Do you know if there are cabins to rent- if you don't have an RV? What were you cooking on the grill? Wow Oui...that looked some delicious... I am so glad you took us on the trip with you...because this is a place I always wanted to visit....and now I want to go more than ever...I did see the winery....Great Video-I am going back to watch again! Safe Travel...and Stay Safe...BLESSINGS!

Ha Ha!! LCB you sound so excited and I love it. Mayberry Campground and Pilot Mountain Park are two separate locations. Yes, the campground has recently put in cute little cabins. I’m sure you can contact them for more information. Now…. I was cooking shredded brussel sprouts, potatoes and in the little cast iron pan was sliced peaches with butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. Duane was cooking chicken on the grill behind me. Thank you so much for subscribing and I hope you will continue to be a part of our KZfaq family!❤️

The tip about making sure your cord reaches is a good one! I'm not sure if you will remember this but I camp two sites from you guys a few months ago at River Walk RV Park. You walked by when I was unhooking from my truck, waved and said hi! About 30 mins later you came back by and I was hooking back to my truck so I could pull 3 ft forward because my power cord didn't reach. Of course I didn't find this out until after we had the rest of the camper set up. LOL. I discovered your youtube channela few days after that and I showed the channel to my wife and told her, "This is the guy that witnessed me having to reconnect to get power to the camper." Love the videos! Hope to see you at a campground soon!!!!!

We didn’t do the tasting because I was taking meds for a sinus infection but the Vineyard was beautiful.

Ha…even though it looked like a grave stone it was not. Each stone had the type of grape that was growing in that area.

This isn’t a bad campground at all however not sure what happened with management but we have decided we will be moving to beechnut campground just up the road. Seems to be a bit more family and camping oriented

I feel in all fairness I must edit my comment. I found out the owner passed away about a year ago and his daughter has taken it over and the adjustment has been difficult. She is a nice lady for sure and she has made some improvements. And more are in the works. Even though I’m not a fan of not being able to reserve a particular site and only a site type with this park that isn’t a issue as they have made sure that every site will accommodate the unit you have. They will do what they can to accommodate the are or location you may prefer and if the site you want is available they will be happy to help. My issue was an honest misunderstanding and I must correct my statement. Thank you and happy travels to all
