It’s too bad, he really wasn’t ready to talk about it; and I appreciate how MB got that. On an aside: MB and JC it would be awesome if you could do a show that speaks to the toll avoidance has on our system. Don’t get me wrong I see so much of myself in how Justin isn’t talking about (X) something and controlling the environment with complete ridiculous silliness. Ive also poured my heart and pain out to people of no consequence and be incapable of speaking my truth to people who can actually help. Addiction, mental health, trauma and Internal Family Systems .

I've had a crush on Justin Long for 18 years (THAT statement just made me realise that I'm old 😳) and I'm so glad I watched this. I had no idea about the trauma he went through. That's so scary. I'm glad he got out of that situation. ❤ I enjoy how animated he is when he speaks. He widens his eyes. He uses his hands. It's awesome and hilarious because I'm the same way. 😂 Mayim is brilliant. And BEAUTIFUL. 😊 I'm excited to see the next episode! 🙋🏻‍♀️

Justin’s story about being kidnapped, essentially, and feeling pressured to smoke with these locals, but ending up being drugged reminds me of the story Party of Five star Jeremy London told. But, sadly, nobody believed him and it destroyed his career. As someone who has also been drugged - someone put rohypnol, I believe, in my drink and I was lucky to make it home safe in a cab. But I really don’t remember anything about that night and apparently called a bunch of dudes in my contacts list and left them all very suggestive messages. I got weird replies the next day and had no idea why. I even denied doing it because I didn’t have any recollection of any of it, then remembered it all 3 months later. Very weird. Anyway I felt for Jeremy London at the time. It just goes to show that reputation really matters in these kinds of things, as Justin’s reputation really made it possible for people to believe him. But I also believe that these things are more common now, sadly, so we don’t have any reason to believe it’s not true, unlike when it happened to Jeremy London. Who finally got vindicated years after the incident when one of the kidnappers confessed. But his career is totally destroyed anyway. I’m glad Justin wasn’t more hurt. It really destroys your trust in humanity to be drugged like that, though. That was the last time I went out to a bar with friends I didn’t completely trust. And really marred the end of my youth.

I was drugged by something that others have now told me was most likely PCP as well- I put myself in a very stupid position years ago as a teenager when friends of mine and I went to a drug dealers house (first red flag) to buy weed from this grown man I've never met (second red flag) and I alone smoked a "test bowl" out of his gravity bong (third red flag, should've been the final strike) and I completely lost my memory of the first 30 minutes in that apartment. From there, my friends and I went walking and little by little we all split up and went our separate ways- except one of my friends who thankfully recognized I wasn't in the correct state of mind to be left alone... we decided to walk to her house and wait a few hours to call my dad to come pick me up... I only remember one thing from the rest of that entire situation and that's being in a church parking lot puking my guts out and being so amazed by how bright green my puke looked... and as I'm staring down in amazement at my own bodily function, these very kind church goers asked if I was okay and I just remember being so embarrassed and feeling like God/the universe itself was looking down at me with disdain... Long story long, I didn't smoke weed again for 4 years until it became legal in my state and I could buy it from a store, and I still don't trust it coming from anyone I don't know personally VERY well. I'm glad Justin was (mostly) okay and got out of that situation- definitely not a feeling/mindset I would wish on my worst enemy.

Justin Long is an amazing yet very underrated actor who puts his heart and soul into his work.
