Hey mate, what size tyres are you running and were you using the factory diff lock on most of these? Btw nice rig mate
@123mj1234
@123mj1234 4 жыл бұрын
Most of the clips were with 285/75/16 Nitto Trail Grapplers (33s) and a few were with 265/75/16 Hankook Dynapro MTs (32s). And yeah the diff lock would’ve been on in pretty much all of this 🤙

Hey bud, any comments on reliability/repairs/breakdowns/parts? I'm keen on buying one. Old rig is a hilux which I love but I'm thinking of getting something different just because. Also can you put a dual battery in the engine bay?
@123mj1234
@123mj1234 4 жыл бұрын
Hey mate, firstly you can't fit a second battery in the engine bay. I run mine in the cab (white BT from the channel) and Ryan runs his in the tub (silver in this video). Reliability wise, I haven't had any major issues with mine and anything that has gone wrong with Ryan's has been covered under warranty no questions asked. I've found they have really strong diffs/CVs for 4wding which is great, and they can fit 33s/34s with no guard work and 35s pretty easily after that (compared to Hilux's which need massive guard chops). In saying that, I would be hesitant to buy one with high kms because of the high cost of repairs, particularly the Auto gearbox which fails more than it should. If you're gonna buy it new/new-ish and own it during the warranty period you absolutely won't be disappointed though.

@@123mj1234 Thanks mate, I'll see how I go. I'm planning to buy new. I will only do 5-6 off-road trips a year. Mainly weekenders and 1 big trip 2-3 weeks so it won't have an extremely difficult life. It's so much better value over a hilux so very tempting and is effectively a rebadged Ford ranger.

Yeah mate, I also run 34s on my own BT-50 with factory gearing (the white one on the channel). Ryan's is manual and mine is auto, both drive awesomely still.

@123mj1234
@123mj1234 2 жыл бұрын
Hey, a 33 inch spare will rub on the elocker wiring on the back of the diff with a factory towbar. It fits easily on this BT though with the Ironman rear bar

Es brutal, 3.2 turbo diesel auto o manual, 197 hp es como un Ranger pero fuerte que si dura un montón, eh visto modelos del 2007 con 300mil kilometros y mas. Super cómodo y alta tecnología
