Hi guys hope yall doing well. In this video i am updating you guys with the oil catch result after about 5000kms of driving. It shows that the oil catch can did a great job on catching the excessive oil vapors within the engine intake manifold. This car is 2013 and had done about 45000kms.
After that i did replace the Low pressure fuel filter (strainer) located within the fuel pump sender unit. This vehicle and other gasoline Mazda Skyactiv uses internal filter strainer as the fuel filter. See the result on the video. I hope this demonstration video can guide you and all Mazda owners to do this DIY service.
After the service the car will feels like a brand new car again. ✌️

Over the spring I'm going to do oil catch can on mine, replace the value cover gasket, and change the fuel filter..when it gets a lil warming. North America, USA, New York. Thanks for all your videos. Very very helpful. Also during summer/fall a transmission filter replacement.

@@FelixDanGarasiAuto so I checked the catch can. Absolutely empty. Not even some residue. I blew into the inlet side of the hose and felt air come out of the out hose coming out of the catch can so there are no blockages. I followed up on other pages and heard the same thing. I guess Mazda is really good as we think it is.

@@FelixDanGarasiAuto Ha. found the part on tokped and saw your review for it too lol. Might give it a shoot. seems doable after i rewatch it. Say, after you remove the pump assembly and place it in the container, did you do anything to it? or just leave it to drain out the leftover fuel by itself?

@@filbertnorma6556 yes i source it from tokped. Yes its just left over fuel from the fuel sender unit. Yes u can do it :) just have to be gentle with it as it is plastic.

@@bocap1980 Yes it was the lower strainer fuel filter. the high pressure is built in the fuel pump unit itself. Mine was in a very good condition so dont need replacing.

I had a 2033 BMW 330i, it was so easy to work on it that to remove the seat you didn't even have to remove screws to take out the back seat, you just pulled it out and it came out. LOVED that car and how easy it was for a noob like myself to work on it.

Great video, your gasoline is blue 😆 here in the states is a bit green, in Mexico is pink. I see there a lot of debris in the filter, did you just changed it cause your CX-3 felt sluggish? Or just because of the high kilometers? My M6 has about 87,000 miles

car is fine . runs no problems . ✌️just want to show us the condition after 45000kms. scared it will get clogged up and ruin the pump unit :)

If i remmember correctly, you installed this catch can arround 42000km and after like 3000km this small amount of oil its catch? I ask you because in my car (cx5, 2.5 , 38000km) its catch same amount oil after like 500-800 km :( something wrong with my car ? 2. Where is the fuel filter itself :) lol ..... ? i know that usually this white pad comes before fuel filter

Yours is fine :) nothing wrong with the car. i just dont drive it hard enough haha. Our cars only get the high pressure fuel filter its within the fuel pump it self.

I just did the fuel filter strainer on my 2020 CX5 with 32,500 miles and the old one was almost as white as the new filter . I just bought the Mazda with 32,108 miles. I guess the it might have been changed before.

aaaahh Perfect 👍🏻. use a good quality fuel will cleanse the fuel pump unit and filter and should last for long.

Interesting video Felix. What a stupid design though for Mazda to place a serviceable item as part of the pump. Thankfully though, us in North America do not really have that concern that early if we visit quality pumps that maintain their equipment well.

Why the filter plastic house got brown? What is in the gasoline? Mine was still white after 135k km. Btw, there is an inner filter also around the pump. I have changed the whole unit altogether.

Great Job. 45K Km doesnt seem a lot for the dirtiness of the filter. At what Km would you normally recommend doing this and how often afterwards please ? I know Mazda say 120K Km.

ive been getting a good solid 1:11 to 1:10. city and high way combine. very good fuel economy. i use ron92 petrol for my daily use. It is a good n fuel efficient car for little suv. just got to keep up routine maintenance / log book service. Parts also easy to find n source locally.

Hola. Creo que solo se cambió la malla al comienzo y no el filtro que está dentro del plástico, que rodea la pieza de metal.

la unidad de la bomba de combustible aún está en buen estado de funcionamiento, solo es necesario reemplazar el filtro colador. a menos que la unidad de la bomba tenga un problema, debe reemplazar la unidad emisora de la bomba por completo.

sbenernya kalau tdk ganti jg tdk kenapa” cuman ya balik lagi sama pemilik apakah mobilnya mau di simpan / pakai lama. kalau cuman user biasa biasa saja sy rasa tdk perlu di utak atik tinggal tunggu sampai assembly pompa unit nya rusak dan tinggal ganti baru. ✌️

@@zahariafelix should be very similar to other cars, it is located under the rear passenger seats. there should be a service hole you can access.

we get 3 types of fuel here in Indonesia . ron 90 is yellow . ron 92 is blue . ron 95 / 98 is red .

fuel strainer nya fungsi nya saring micro particle dalam tanki bensin mobil. Kalo uda lama pasti kotor di dalam tanki bensin & kotor juga filter strainer nya jadi bisa menghambat kinerja si fuel pump. Fuel pump assy seperti mobil ini harga nya lumayan mahal kalau terjadi kerusakan.

they do have one from factory but dors not work well , thats why i add this oil catch can will helps to reduce the carbon build up in the intake valves.
