It also doesn't help that the moment any of those decks would be played, the key centerpieces of those decks get banned, so those incredibly cool decks don't see any meaningful long-term play, kinda running the progression and adaptation of the game.

@@haruhirogrimgar6047 If stun were played as often as burn, it would get hate too. Both Gage and Cimo have played Chain Burn an obscene amount of times. Meanwhile, fun decks like Burning Abyss get literally 1 episode and then banned out of existence. They seriously need to re-evaluate how they do bans and the wheel for season 3; it doesn't allow for deck variety and we get stuck with boring decks like Burn or Stun (although again, I wouldn't care here since it hasn't been played once this season).

First of all, if you're spoiled by this... Idk why you're watching this _before_ the official video. I watch this to see the reaction, sure, but I also watch the official release to actually watch at my own pace instead of at MBT's pace. And you also shouldn't look at comments and expect nobody to talk about the video... Therefore should always expect a spoiler. This is why when I watch the official video I don't (as well as MBT doesn't) look at comments because, regardless of whether there's a spoiler shield, there's a high chance of spoiler. Now, back to the topic at hand. Yeah, when Gage brought Stun I thought at first "Oh, that may actually be toxic." Then Cimo's reveal was like seeing Indiana Jones pull a gun and shoot the swordsman.

I'd rather watch 50 games of chain burn in a row rather than barrier stun at all tbh. The deck is just vanilla beats while with chain burn it's actually more skill expressive due to timing your chains right, managing your back row and chaining appropriately. I get the deck is obnoxious to face (I personally hate playing against any and all decks that are just stun or burn), but imo it's still entertaining because of the close matches.

Yes, only specific people enjoy playing burn/stun and the number of players that enjoy watching burn/stun is probably even less. Especially watching the same matchup so many times over. The point of the series is void at this point, we only actually get new decks like every 10 episodes.

History of ygo, History of jank, Sealed Showdown, etc. I'm fine with one series not being that, instead allowing the same deck to show up in different matchups or slight changes. If anything the problem is that all the other fun series have been discontinued.
