genuinely went "FUCK YEAH!" when I saw the thumbnail on my sub tab, this series rocks. I feel like this format is being slept on and we'll soon see it everywhere with all types of TCGs, it shows draft and building skills, adds some randomness for spice and still rewards skillful play

The tell for me was, at the 30 sec mark, CC used the Spheal color bars interrupt, which they also do for many of Doug’s videos that they edit.

@@shadowdeath36 I can't blame him for that tbh. Like he said, he had no clue that there was that much modern stuff in the packs. He likely thought that it stopped with GX era, while Ronintoadin came out in 5Ds era. He didn't really catch on until he had gone through the second path already, and by Tha point he likely thought it wasn't worth digging in the water pack just hoping to get one.

I hate to um actually but since noone else mentioned it. I don't think you can mask change II malicious into Dark law cuz they're the same level. Not the end of the world but interesting restriction id never thought about.

As much as I LOVE this concept, man these duels were unbalanced. Dzeeff played basically GX era Frog Monarchs MBT: hey that's really neat, anyway normal summon Vyon send Shadow Mist Either Dzeeff got really unlucky, or the HERO cards are just stacked as fuck. Still really funny to see these games play out.

It's nice to have a longer video once in a while. They are great for both sleeping and gaming with the video in the background. Duel Logs was making even 4 hour long ones for sleeping (different kind of content, but still)

Yup. If an effect has a limited amount of uses per turn and the activation gets negated, then you sitll haven't ticked down the count. However if it's activated and the *effect* is negated, then it was sitll activated. It all depends on what the card says. LaDD says negate the activation, not negate the effect.

@18:15 It's ATCG: Adenine Thymine Cytosine and Guanine Though I never realized that connection to "a TCG" before. Might be because they are usually listed in a different order. @19:07 according to SEGOC (simultaneous effects go on chain) - rules, mandatory effects have a lower chain link than optional effects. Should both players have cards with mandatory/optiona effects, the turn player goes first. In this scenario, the turn player controlled Sangan, a monster with a mandatory effect. The other player controlled Peten, a monster with an optional effect ("you can banish it) So the chain would be: CL1 Sangan, CL2 Peten Because of that, Peeten's effect would activate first and not miss timing.

I really want the darkest dungeon style of this. You can copy a card, but start the next duel with one less card in hand. Stuff like that would be awesome
