I know the algorithms probably say otherwise, but I'm all about the ''boring'' parts. I love the tear down and porting side of things. Keep up the boring work Mr Bellhopper.

Ty for the carb video. I have a 700 and wasn't sure about the carb. I will be taking it apart again and check the gaskets and metering lever. Thanks again

Yessir. Every year when it gets cold I have to adjust ALL my saws. Fate them up 1/8th to 1/4turn depending on the saw ect Just today I fattened up my husky 51 I started to get mad at it Bc it wouldn’t cut worth a shit. Then I remember. Duh. It’s cold needs more go go juice silly!

Thanks for doing this video. That membrane has made me wonder why one carb has it the next don't and they both run. Figured it must be some difference in the carb I am just not seeing. Maybe just a difference in the kit used. Thanks

All the kits ive seen have them just think some ppl dont put them in and others do

I've had 3 sdc's with bad high speed check valves and had to pop the welch plugs. It is a challenge doing all that. Thanks for showing the proper order of assembly.

..yep, check everything, check it twice..'cause on a 40-year old carburetor, chances are somebody has already taken it apart at least once, maybe several times, and there's no guarantee they did it right.. :).and I agree on not taking the welch plugs out unless it's necessary..only a couple of SDC's I can remember I had to take out the plugs, they wouldn't pull fuel through them after cleaning and rebuild kit...pulled out the welch plugs and there was trash/dust packed behind them....

Bellhopper, what’s the purpose of the membrane diaphragm? I have taken many apart that don’t have them and some that do. I put mine back together without it because I wasn’t sure what it was for. Should it be used and why? Thank you!!!

I got a stock PM700 that pulls a 28” full comp .404” chain nicely. That one looks like it’s got more rpm and some pull. Nice work Jeremy.
