Tinman, my first chainsaw that I worked on was a McCulloch Pro Mac 10-10, and I watched 1 video then rebuilt the carb. Kinda easy, the last owner ran it without the air cleaner in place so the cylinder and piston are damaged, rings are damaged and stuck so no compression. I'll get replacement parts and restore it with my son. Thanks for taking us with you on your journey. Be safe.

Your content is great brother. My pro Mac 60 like a champ after I bought it from a guy who had it sitting for 4 years. I barely did anything to it and she pulls. Can’t wait to see how that thing cuts with the full tinman treatment!

I have a pro mac 700 that is a good runner in stock form. I resurrected a CP-70 with the pull start on the clutch side. It was an awesome runner with just a mild port cleanup. Good luck with it!

Aaaaaarrrgghh. Missed by that much. I have a matching 1 of these Macs. Under the cover where the oil is there is a plate that separates the oil from the engine (or it's meant to). The plate is held in place by a thingy under spring tension. I was after a look at that thingy and I was going to reach out to the masses for a name of that thingy. My Mac70 has a secret identity as a smoke blower as the thingy isn't doing it's job right.
