I pine for a tenet amprex. more than ever, because amprex has always been one of my favorites! that chaining beam weapon is just so good! [that and being pure electric means, if you wanna get lots of a specific element kills it's the go to.

If you want Corrosive on Saryn without modding weapon for it, just put Venom Dose augment. Won't help with Combustion Beam proc damage but it will overall increase your weapon damage. So, Attica/Zhuge with Thunderbolt now?

Oh it'll help with the Toxic Lash damage though. ANY source of toxin, even combined elements or buffs will contribute towards toxic lash's damage. I love running Roar, Venom Dose, and Toxic Lash on dumb interactions like this. Nourish gives Viral, which also contributes. For some silliness let's use a melee which causes explosions on enemy death, Jat Kittag. Now in Jat Kittag we run Vulcan Blitz. Build it for electric, crit, and status, slot in Melee Influence. Melee Influence is key because it allows us to spread the toxin, corrosive, viral, and electric procs. And when those statuses kill it will spread status effects because each detonation counts as a "melee hit." Then if we utilize Toxic Lash's augment Contagion Cloud we can make it cause Toxin Damage clouds on enemy death, this is just optional to give us a more passive DPS it isn't necessary. It's Dual Ichor Incarnon, without the Dual Ichor and it scales off of enemy HP. To really push it to the limit we can raise our corrosive stack limit, but I don't think you'll even see 14 stacks with how potent Saryn is. I vote for Cernos Prime with Tunderbolt fire rate, and Split Flights. The Shotgun bow has potential. Another fun idea Nagantaka (Prime) burst fire.

Ooh, what about all the Nova jank? Antimatter Drop counts as a weapon! That means the mutalist quanta's alternate fire can buff it! And give it crit chance! And hey, you know those ways to boost damage on a warframe, Vigorous Swap and Arcanes and that? They affect it too. I don't know about stuff like Volt shields, or a subsumed Xata's whisper, or a friendly Saryn's Venom Dose buff or stuff like that, though Also, the explosions from killing an enemy affected by Molecular Prime inherit the damage of the weapon that did that do. Kill something with a Sobek? Anything those explosions kill, procs Acid Shells. Have Xata's up? Yep. That works. The boring thing everyone does is use an incarnon for the +2000% damage, double dip on it (!!) with Xata's, put it on a Nova with super high range and a good dollop of strength and go nuke steel path, but... Surely there's some funny Arcanes, right? I mean, if nothing else, Jat Kittag + Vulcan Blitz + Melee Influence sounds disturbingly viable. ...Also, I guess you could proc something like Concealed Explosives off of the Molecular Prime explosion, which sounds goofy and not very useful

Another interesting addition you can consider for both this and the Hikou build, and really anything based on flat procs like Combustion Beam or Cascadia Empowered: Helminth-consume Rest & Rage onto Saryn! I just did a build last night to test this, and can confirm that Rage's damage multiplier works on these procs, allowing the damage to scale way further into Steel Path and beyond. My setup ended up being an Empowered Kompressa with 10.2 multishot and 102% status chance, with Toxic Lash and Rage. A single trigger-pull would reliably pop a level 200+ SP Nox from full, and it takes less than a second to kill a 200+ SP Heavy Gunner Eximus. And they already said they're doing some new work on Kompressa soon to go with Yareli Deluxe, so imagine how much better it could become! :D

There is also Sobek with Acid Shells and Jat Kittag with Vulcan Blitz and Melee influence if you want to add that ontop of the Vulcan Blitz.

if you want a melee, jat kittag with vulcan blitz carries toxic lash on the explosion. melee influence also carries the explosion effect, it's a very fun setup.

This reminds me of an old build for something called the rainbow blade that my friend had back in the day You’d subsume Smite onto Saryn and run both Venom Dose and Smite Infusion, then take a weapon modded for viral and magnetic and go nuts It wasn’t necessarily *good* but it was super funny to watch all the random status effects A shame toxic lash’s damage gets converted into combined elements or you could do something like mod heat on the weapon or run one of the new radiation mods and swap smite infusion for shock trooper Maybe you could do something with Xata’s here? I dunno!

Toxic Lash shouldnt get combined it is coded like xatas whisper where it deals an extra hit that is just purely toxin (or void in xatas case) but venom dose acts like modded on elements which can not combine but ruin your proc-weightings just like nourish often does

@Xorua so, the way Xata's and Toxic Lash work is basically like how multishot, but it deals only one damage type (void or toxic) and it forces a proc of that element. Toxic Lash is actually doubly special because it doesn't just take Toxic mods in account for its damage, but also ability buffs like venom dose and Nourish as well, allowing it to deal some absurdly high Toxic damage. As long as it uses toxic for the elemental combination, it'll get boosted by that damage.

toxin lash helps so many gun augments like sobek's acid shells continue to cascade throughout the stage it's so funny. if you want a silly weapon, jat kittag's explosion on kill also works.

Jat Kittag has the Vulcan Blitz mod, which does do Blast, but it sort-of works for the 'silly melee' slot.

Edit: I tried a version of this on Ignis Wraith with Corrosive, Radiation and extra Heat and Hammer Shot. It wasn't bad at all in Simulacrum. I'll give it a shot in the MR30 test, it could speed things up for the first two or three waves.

Acid Shells works a treat on her if you haven't tried it. Love your Hikou and Amprex setups with this combo though. Having an absurd amount of fun with five Emerald Shards on her.

I wonder if you could cause the chain reaction to happen by actually using Saryn's spores and spreading damage that way. The Dual Ichor incarnon might be the melee to go with this setup, just mass aoe toxin/gas/corrosive damage to melt anything in an area around you.

I’m not sure about archon continuity if you want to build for toxic lash. It will not be able to proc additional corrosive.

Archon continuity does not work with saryn's venom dose, but that does not mean it doesn't work with weapons. The caveat is the weapon itself has to be an ability. So exalted weapons work fine.

sobek with acid shells, i know for a fact this already works to some degree, i used it with nova since that increased the HP scaled explosion and i alwaysed him at the healthyer guys because it would most likely kill everything around it. so toxic lash might be even more funny

Just as FYI, Archon Continuity does NOT actually work with Toxic Lash. As Toxic Lash applies a buff to a weapon, it's not actually counted as the ability causing the damage, so it doesn't prpc Archon Cont.

I'm beggin you to try out a Saryn with Toxic Lash, Augment for the 1 and Xatas whisper subsumed over the 4 and then throwing in a Rakta Dark dagger (with Melee Influence) with the Argonak and Amalgam Argonak Metal Auger equipped such a fun (also Archon continuity doesnt work because it oh you just figured this out bruh)

I would recommend modifying these saryn toxic lash builds by changing the following: Subsume nourish onto her 4 for Viral damage Use the venom dose augment for corrosive Mod the weapon for base gas/rad instead. This way you can cover all enemy types as well as get an absurd amount of damage on any weapon.

Ok, so I already had/have the Hikou Prime CE build for my Saryn, but I never pushed to find more weapons and completely forgot about combustion beam. These special mods amnd the whole "on death" explosion thing got me thinking. Sobek Acid Shells is already well known but now I'm thinking about the Jat Kittag Vulcan Blitz mod and Tenet Detons Thermamagnetic Shells. My Toxic Lash Saryn has much to experiment with tonight amd if successful will have a full loadout.

So this is the Combustion Beam damage triggering the Toxic Lash extra hit? Would it also trigger the Xata's Whisper extra hit? Subsumable to any Frame or is this Saryn exclusive? And not that it needs the help, but Torid Incarnon chains to 8 enemies with Primed Firestorm. How much "Range" can we get out of Combustion Beam shenanigans?

I'm pretty sure Archon Continuity *does not* work with either Toxic Lash or it's augment, Contagion Cloud. I think that's stupid, but I guess maybe because those count as weapon damage not ability damage, which is why Combustion Beam works? Warframe is weird. lol

A reminder that you can get Corrosive, Radiation and Toxin on your weapon, with Saryn, without any mods on your weapon. It just needs Helminth to get Oberon's Smite on her, along with space for a couple of augment mods. It's my preferred way to play Saryn and not that you would believe me, but I came up with it at least a month before Tactical Potato uploaded their video. ...Guess it matters slightly less now that DE thought to just give every weapon type a straight up radiation mod...I am not salty...

The only saryn ability archon continuity works on is specifically the explosion damage of molt. it's like... objectively the worst of the archon mods sadly since it has the least applicability.
