To all the people that think the girls should be wearing more clothes, they are majorette dancers and this is their costumes. Yes it does draw attention of people, and can be perceived as sexual, but outfits don’t legitimatize or excuse grown ass men/women from possibly preying on these young girls. I think at the end of the day these girls are slaying, and to diminish or overlook the hard work and dedication it took to participate in the parade because of their outfits is wrong.

Most dancers wear leotards. That’s all this costume is. It’s a freaking leotard. There’s nothing sexualizing about it. It’s the required uniform. I don’t understand why some people are so stupid. This covers more than a bikini does. 🤷🏻♀️

Just to say "that's what majorettes wear" doesn't mean it's not sexual. I think it's almost too obvious to say, that their outfit is intended to be sexual. It clearly is. Some people try to shy away from anything sexual. Life is sexual. Everything is sexual.

I didn’t at first but you have to practice and condition yourself, even if you may not make it this year, there is the next year or college(where ever you’re going to next year). Be dedicated and find happiness in it. That’s what I’m doing and that’s how I want to train

I am always blown away when watching these young ladies. So beautiful, and their talent is amazing. Bri Is always on Fire. She never misses a beat. She executes every count with style, sass and fire!!!! Coach Lashalln must be so proud of his girls. Hes the brain behind the scenes, and he deserves an Academy Award for his work. In my own Opinion, this team has no competition. They stand out anytime they perform. Great job Coach Lashalln, and Fabulous job Pantherettes. So l guess its safe to say the parade was over after the shooting incident. Were the shootings confirmed? Sad because the parade was about the kids and seeing so many in attendance for it. I've never seen so many ppl out for a college parade. Disappointing! The girls looked good though!

I knew that she would fit their style of dance. (I truly love every HBCU Dance Team) I would describe them as a Great Mixture of Each Dance Teams with a Twist. Just my opinion.
