McKoy/Bert Sushi Burgers
Ingredients:
1 tbsp bakers sugar
1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
1 tbsp mirin
Pickled cucumber
Kewpie mayo
Sriracha
Tuna
Wasabi Paste
Salmon
Avocado
Sticky Rice
1. Combine bakers sugar, rice wine vinegar, and mirin in a bowl
2. Mix into cooked white rice
Special Sauce for burgers:
1. Mix to taste: Kewpie mayo, sriracha, chopped pickled cucumber
McKoy/Bert Sushi Burger
1. Chop tuna into fine pieces and mix with wasabi paste and mayo, then form into patties
2. Chop salmon into fine pieces and form 3 patties
3. Mold sticky rice into patties, fry, and top with sesame seeds
4. Assemble the burgers and add a layer of avocado

I remember meeting Jo Koy around 2011 or 2012 at Sherman oaks Castle park n play. I walked up and asked "excuse me, I'm sorry for interrupting but have you been on tv before?" And Jo gets this big smile on his face and says "I dunno, what shows have you seen me on?" And I replied "oh I've seen you as a commentor on 'the world's dumbest criminals on court TV". He nodded and said "and Chelsea lately" and I was like "YEAH THAT TOO! Dude you're hilarious man!" As he thanked me, I saw his kid come up to him with the rental bat and helmate so I tell him "oh you're with your kids, my fault, have a great night!" Jo then tells me to talk to his oldest kid (guessing like...15 maybe?) And said to write down my name and email. Did that, about 2 days later I got an email from his (assuming role cause it's been a few years) receptionist asking for my home address details. About a week later I get a package in the mail that was a signed copy of his dvd special and some stickers. Very cool dude and for a quick like, 3 minute interaction, he did all that. Jo Koy is a great dude and I'm happy to see he's doing good still. Thanks for reading this long ass comment lmao.

Such an amazing story. I have always felt he was a kind soul. I have always loved comedy, but since the pandemic, I’ve become obsessed. Jo Koy, Pete Davidson, Troy Bond, and Jeff Arcuri are among my faves. Definitely Koy because I love his bits about his mom and his son. There is a love and admiration that is missed in other comedians.

I laughed with gusto when Jo Koy fed Bert beer like he was giving a baby his bottle. I love the fact that Bert starts splashing and everybody jumps in the pool. Bert turns any event into a cannonball competition. Hurrah for this show, but I wish he'd bring back The Cabin. Cheers!

Well yeah why do it when there is no category for comedy? kinda a major diss to everyone else in the comedic side of the industry but then still comedians host? I mean i get money and stuff but still give comedians a category or atleast include them and maybe most people would care more about the oscars. I mean heck the graduate was a comedic drama and tbh it seems like a circle jerk for the last few years

Try this recipe Bert, -1 tbls of yamasa soy sauce -1 tbls of sesame seed oil -put those 2 ingredients on the fish first In a separate bowl mix in -Japanese Mayo -sriracha -Korean garlic chili paste All these are to taste then add that into the fish mix well then add masago fish eggs and finely chopped green and sweet round onion.
