You can tell from the changes in art style that I worked on this in batches, lol.
But once more, I can't help but associate Lord Huron songs with MDZS.

omggggg dude it matches the characters so much... i love how "you are not the one you say you are" applies both ways: you are not the evil thing people claim or you are not the good and innocent and righteous one you pretend to be.... and i love that the implication for jiang cheng is despite is angry and accusatory exterior in the end he was the one who hoped for WWX's return the most...

An animatic that doesn't immediately disregard Jin Guangyao as pure evil but still acknowledges the fact that he committed some major crimes by the end and deserved what he got? Yes please, sign me right up. And everything else is so accurate too! Love it!

The last part killed me omfggg. And the expressions, especially the ones you did w huaisang are so good? I love how he just looks,,,so tired at the end. And JC being all soft and fjsjdjr I love how u managed to include everyone! And ur art style is so nice

The fact that the song is actually kinda accurate to a lot of MDZA characters makes this even better. Just like the visuals get the points across so clearly and I love it

I won't lie, that (almost) final moment at the end of the novel where Wei WuXian realises WHO has bern pulling the strings since the beginning... fucking jaw-dropping

it's so good! I liked that the live action adaptation put in a few more clues to help viewers figure it out themselves, but the way the novel played it out was such a good moment. thanks for watching!

this is genuinely one of my absolute favourite things ever! the song is SO perfect for the plot and the stories you're showing in this, and the juxtaposition of characters and what they've done/what they're hiding is great!! it makes me massively emotional for the entire plot and characters its just,,, so good. also i've mentioned before but the different appearance you give mxy!wwx is SO perfect i love him to bits!
