True but its not only the colors but also their description Red: "fills my dreams and brings me to the place you rest" Jian Cheng did indeed investigate the place where Wei Wu Xian died sparing no effort. As for the dreams part maybe it happened without the novel mentioning that *shrugs shoulder * White: "is cold and always yearning burdened by a royal test" Lan Wanji does have a cold appearance but he is indeed yearning for Wei Wu Xian's return and is quite burdened by the way the world tests his patience and loyalty Black: honestly if it was just "black" i would put Xue Yang but as soon as i remembered the "black the beast decends from shadows" i kinda changed my mind to Wen Ning cause even if he isn't a beast most of the people unjustly view him as something even worse, as for "descends from shadows" part we could both use it for an additional description of an action scene like "at that moment just before the final blow happened he descended from the shadows and turned the tables by..." Or we could use it as a metaphor since he died onc- sorry twice, in a similar context of "he arouse from the dead, descended from the underworld..." Yellow: "yellow beauty burns" probably talking about his burning passion to protct! @@yuruyukii Basically Nie Huaisang was the one that coordinated everything from the shadows. Before his brother's death, he wasn't interested in being the Nie Clan Leader, and only cared about art, calligraphy, fans, etc. After his brother's death, however, he was forced into the position of Clan Leader. He decided to purposefully not improve his cultivation so that he wouldn't become a vengeful ghost like his ancestors (see: Nie Clan Ancestral Tomb chapters). But Nie Huaisang somehow figured out that Jin Guangyao was the one who killed his brother and he pretended to be a Mr. "I don't know" the whole time so that he could plot his revenge for his brother. He found his brother's arm and convinced Mo Xuanyu to give his body to resurrect Wei Wuxian. This is what the last few seconds of the video are referring to (Nie Huaisang is giving Mo Xuanyu the old manuscripts that Wei Wuxian wrote about how to offer up one's body to another soul). Anyhow Nie Huaisang placed the arm in Mo Manor and led Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji on the murder mystery trail to find out the truth about his brother. He also led the juniors to the Yi City by scaring them with dead cats hanging outside of their rooms. Basically, Nie Huaisang planned everything in the plot, most notably the resurrection of Wei Wuxian, but also including the final confrontation in which Jin Guangyao is finally killed and Nie Huaisang gets his revenge.

Actually jiang cheng does care for jin ling on a level and tries to provide him with family love but hes not really good at it considering how his parents raised him but yeah he's trying.

Ah I just re-watched the "Jin Ling's Uncle" video and I realised how no matter how many uncles he has, he is still alone 🥺

That really hurt me. Thing that Jing Ling and Jiang Cheng actually had only each other as a family. JL, all he could take from his environment he took from JC. He learned to (or tried to copy) talk like him. And his coping mechanism is similar. JC no matter what he says to JL or how he threatens his nephew pretty much spoils him. And I cry at every mention of their relationship
