This was from a local Seattle TV show that aired every Saturday before SNL. It was comedy sketch program. Bill Nye the science guy was a cast member and did different characters before becoming famous later.

Almost Live was a local comedy show in Seattle, like SNL, in the 90's. Dave was on the show because he was still local to Seattle. Check out "Almost Live Lame List" episodes for other grunge gods.
