In this video, you will pretty much see the steps it took me to complete this swap. These digital dash clusters can be found in 1989-1994 S10’s, S10 Blazer, Jimmy and Oldsmobile Bravada with 4.3 and Vortec Engines.
This is pretty much everything you need to know and more. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. I will respond to the best of my knowledge. By no means am I wiring guru or professional. I just research, take my time and apply that to my build as I am a “Do It Yourself” type of person. If I can do this, you can as well !💯

Very impressive and informative! I love how good it looks as well how cheap it is to do the swap. Summit sells really nice replacement cluster but they are $800 bucks wich is ridiculous

Yeah they took it down. I’m not sure why as I it wasn’t my site. You can screen shot the pinouts on my video. It’s what I did.

Hello. You have the diagram of the digital cluster that you installed in this car, I have a Chevrolet Blazer 94 with this cluster but I want to change to an old school cluster with a tachometer that is supposed to fit in a S10, Blazer or SONOMA from 90-97, but I can't find the diagram to be able to do the wiring correctly. Please I need help.

How did you contact the temp sensor? My goody has one wire, the temp sensor from the donor has two wires.

Have to use donor car temp sensor and all it needs is the signal wire hooked directly to the dash harness.

During the day I can barely see the cluster, at night it’s extremely bright. Do you have any suggestions about the wiring?

@@jwtru2life No I don’t. There is a dimmer wire but I’m not sure how to hook it up. I couldn’t get it to work to see if I could make it brighter.

Am doing the S10 blazer to S10 and I was curious on how you got the pin out on the digital gauge because mine does not have any numbers on the plug thanks.

I got it off a website that is no longer active. You can take screen shots of the diagrams in this video. That’s what I did when I completed another S10 dash swap.

No. I purchase a unit from Casper’s electronics to “bypass” the volts bulb in the stock dash.

No they were pretty close. I did this on another car and it was off because the dash was faulty. Just make sure you use the sending unit from the donor car and you should be OK as long as the digital dash is working fine.

So you found the speed sensor buffer...was it from a camaro or caprice?

I bought it on eBay. 90-92 Camaro. Some same year Caprices too and Firebirds from what I heard.
