16:48 juste une astuce : à défaut de reboucher une fente avec une fine bande de bois en forme de coin ou du placage, ajouter de la poussière de ponçage (de préférence de la même essence ou un bois un peu plus clair parce que ça restera plus foncé de toute façon) à la résine ou la colle en fin de remplissage de la fente et pour les trous de vers donne une pâte à bois facile à faire et surtout une finition plus esthétique.

Here in Texas we have a product called "Liquid Wrench". It works to loosen screws, bolts, etc. You might try it if you can find it or order online. It might help on some of these stubborn screws, just a suggestion. Love watching you restore these ingenious mechanisms.

Hello this a fabulous video I enjoyed from start to finish. I was amazed at how much old grease there was on the meat cutter you did an amazing job restoring themeat cutter and making pieces that needed making. I was pleased seeing you cutting meat on it whdn you had finished.

Try oven cleaner on tough old grease and oil. I use it on nasty oil caked engine blocks and cylinder heads. Great job on your restoration!!!

Beautiful job on an antique machine that will last forever, it's just unfortunate that not many of us can afford huge chunks of meat to slice now-a-days . Nice show=piece never the less.

You should invest in a snap on impact driver. Impact screw driver. They work great for those flat head screws.

I am kind of surprised that you don't use hollow ground screw drivers instead of the normal V ground ones. They help prevent the screw driver from popping out when turning since their sides are straight up and down

Your tool box needs an impact screwdriver so you can loosen screws without the side effects of heat.

For those of us watching on a Roku, it would be nice if you identified the material that you used to condition the handle. You do some subtitles, which are appreciated, but when you drop screws and stuff into jars of liquid, what is that liquid? Is it mineral oil, cooking oil, linseed oil... you get my drift. Other than that, pretty good video.
